Author has written 4 stories for Kim Possible. Okay, let's see. What do people usually put in these things. Well, let's start out simple with some good old fashioned "Favorite" lists. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Favorite TV Shows Mystery Science Theater 3000 The Tick Cowboy Bebop Furi Kuri / Fooly Cooly Xiaolin Showdown Robot Chicken Aqua Teen Hunger Force Danny Phantom There's more, but I can't think of 'em right now. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Favorite Video Games Psychonauts Max Payne 1 & 2 Beyond Good and Evil Fatal Frame 2 Jade Empire Again, more that I can't remember off hand. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Favorite Movies Too many to list. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Favorite Books and /or Authors Artemis Fowl Discworld series (Terry Pratchett) Lewis Carroll Edgar Allan Poe Ray Bradbury Dr. Seuss And now we'll get a little more complicated. First off... Stories The Lazarus Factor - This was an early story and the first I uploaded to the site. Honestly I don't like it that much. It didn't really turn out how I wanted it to and comes off as forced and a bit 2-dimensional. Maybe that's just me, but that's how I feel. Past Evils - This is my attempt at a real hard-boiled, film noir type of story. The dramatic descriptions, the less fanciful action; they're supposed to capture the same feel as those old detective books and movies. I'm pretty happy with this one so far, though there are still things I'm not 100 satisified with. Now if only I could finish it. Prodigy - This is my favorite one so far. The writing is still a bit amatuerish in some spots, but this one feels much more fleshed out and solid than my others. I really wanted to convey the feeling of being lost in this story, which is why the main character's identity was kept foggy for so long. I also didn't want this to be a "so-and-so gets super powers" fic, so I made it as technical and down-to-earth as I could to really push the science part of science-fiction. Like 'Past Evils' and 'Shadow of the Bat', this one is still unfinished, but the next chapter's almost done and it shouldn't take much longer to wrap up. Shadow of the Bat - The first in a series. I tend to have a weakness for well-done cross-overs and had seen a couple Batman fusions recently that sparked my imagination. Still, I didn't want to just copy them (no matter how good they were) so I tried to make mine a bit different with Kim and Ron in different roles. I was a bit torn over the romantic aspects of this story since I have no experience in that kind of relationship and didn't want to make a fool of myself. I finally decided that the set-up was just too perfect to ignore though, so I took the risk. This one isn't done yet, but I've planned it out to the end so hopefully there'll be no major delays. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Well, that's all I can think of for now. I'll add some more stuff later when I have the time and/or motivation. In the meantime, here are some words of wisdom from an ancient martial arts master. "I recall your earliest lessons. You fell from a thousand feet during a Walk of Death; which alone was odd enough at your age. But you made short work of the Walk of Maiming and the Walk of Intense Discomfort, and tore your head clean off. I comforted you, well, your head; saying that you could just walk it off. Because, you know, the cut was clean. And then you would PUNCH a mountain. In SPACE! " |
