![]() Author has written 2 stories for Mega Man. Table of Contents. I. Introductions II. Writer's profile & preferences III. My Stories IV. Miscellaneous I. Introductions Heya! I'm LukiaDeathstalker, Lukia for short. Pleased to make your acquaintance! Been around fanfiction for a while now; it's almost a second home. I feel encouraged to always improve - and share everything I've learned with whoever needs it! If you're in need of a seasoned warrior's trades, I'll take you under my wing! I can be a little potty-mouth when I'm overly excited or driven mad. e_e" Wow, what would my polite and naive teenage self think of me? It's been six years now. Ahem. Hobbies Hobbyist writer, hobbyist draftswoman - I just draw for fun and to unwind. Anime-binger, a slow bookworm, manhwa/manga lover. I favor the former over the later for scrolling commodity; really enhances a build-up or thrilling scene. I practice Taekwondo. No, I wouldn't know how long a broken limb takes to heal except for my toe lmao. I only have a better grasp on the emotions experienced during a fight and how your body usually responds. General preferences Music: Synthwave, Darksynth, smooth jazz/bossa-nova, symphonic metal, Japanese progressive mix. Game: Retro. Speak pixel and/or RPG with me and you won a friend for all eternity . Games like Stardew Valley, Octopath Traveler, Magical Starsign, and even oldschool in the genre will always charm me. Anime: Adventure/exploration, superpower, supernatural, good character-development, action. Pick-me-ups: Little Witch Academia, My Hero Academia, How to Keep a Mummy, Hinamatsuri, Cells at Work. Manga/Manhwa: Mystery/thriller, action/adventure, exploration, supernatural, shoujo-ai/shonen-ai (I'm picky on these tho). Currently following: Tamen de Gushi & 19 days, Sweet Home, A Trail of Blood, The Promised Neverland, Dr. Stone. Book: pretty much the same as above. Namely few: Deltora Quest, The Invention of Hugo Cabret, Goosebumps, etc. II. Writer's profile & preferences First and foremost, as you can tell by the flag up there, I'm Brazilian, self-taught English for over three years. Though I'm not fluent, and still make some grammatical mistakes, I'm capable of writing a coherent story. However, it's due to the issue above that I choose not to Beta anyone as of now. I'm also slowly returning to my writing schedule (which will be disrupted as soon as I get myself settled down in RL) so one thing at the time. Due to how chaotic my environment in RL is, I may not be uploading stories at a fast rate. But as soon as I start one, I will finish it, so bear with me! Now, without further ado... As a reader 1. I don't mind OC-centered stories What I do mind is reading something featuring a mary-sue and how awesome this OC is or how xe(he/she) gets all the goodies. [Protagonist-centered laws.] 2. Similarly, I will not read stories featuring OC-Canon pairing or OC-Canon related: Say what you want, this is simply a lazy gimmick littered with fanboy-ism. We can do so much better than that. 3. I won't even bother with Lemon: Most of which seen in this site lacks maturity and professionalism. I refuse to delve any further. 4. Character development matters: Not even the most well structured action-packed scene will keep me interested if the characters are written poorly/are bland, one-dimensional. I need to care for the participants in a fight. 5. I like conflicts...But I'd trade all action, shonen-scenes for a well written mystery/thriller: Enough said. Write me an engaging suspense and you have me hooked to the end. I adore cozy mystery. 6. Displaying a large vocabulary means bonus points: I wholesomely appreciate the proper usage of a synonym to spice things up, and seeing new words feels like a breath of fresh air. Very welcomed. As a writer: 1. My stories will mostly feature an OC: That said, I don't plan in changing a canon character's personality or story to fit my character. I plan on writing mostly Etrian Odyssey stories since I have more freedom with the creativity. 2. My stories may contain mild to strong swearing: Though I may restrain myself from cursing, the same can't be said to, say, a chaotic gang-member. I won't cut anything out as long as it's fitting my character's personality. 3. I plan on writing chapters: As aforementioned, it may take some time to upload a new chapter, but bear with me! 4. I prioritize character-development and key moments over action: Those looking for DBZ-like scenes will be disappointed. Sometimes, the story-pacing may become slow, but I'll do my best to make it worthwhile. 5. I use time-skips/Scene breakers: I apply the minutes-hours long timeskip by using the horizontal line. For longer timeskips, say, years, I centralize how much time has elapsed and run two horizontal lines. 6. Some stories may feature LGBT pairing: As subtle as it is, I thought in stating this nonetheless for the more traditionally religious fellows that may differ from this perspective. III. My Stories Work in Progress: A multi-chapter story based on Etrian Odyssey I and II. This is my biggest project thus far and I hope to go through with this. I'm sure it'll still bring me the greatest joy to see it finished. Currently working on its prologue (as of today, October 20th, 2018) Work in Progress2: More personal project of mine as a rewritten of a role-play among my friends originated in the Megaman Battle Network universe, solely featuring OC and with a context potentially difficult to follow for those unfamiliar with sci-fi aspects. This is mostly a selfish project, in a way, and I want to upload it somewhere. Future possibilities: Stardew Valley OneShots. The game makes it forgiving to write out OCs, and the in-game cutscenes are a good starter prompt. These will mostly be tagged under fluffy, slice-of-life, hurt/comfort, romance and friendship. Old: The RockMan.exe story is old and awful...but I'm thinking in rewriting it someday. No promises. IV. Miscellaneous Things waiting to be watched/finished: My Hero Academia Season 3 Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood Dr. Stone Mob Psycho 100 Season 2 Magus's Bride Girls Last Tour Ugh, time! Why is it so hard to manage you at adulthood?! Awesome things MAGICAL STARSIGN. Where have you been and how did I not find you before? Or should I say Magical StarFeels? Stupid dumb shit that wrecked my heart, I love you...I'm still hurt. YOU! Yes, you, lovely reader, glossing over this long-ass profile. G'day! Things I'm keeping track of: Tamen de Gushi. Ugh, I melt a little every new chapter uploaded. So much hype for the next one. 19 Days. I dunno how I became so entertained by this but I did. The author's got such a charming art style and humor that's impossible to avoid. Sweet Home. Must keep reading...Especially on this Halloween. Dr. Stone. Loved the premise and the story just keeps getting better. Woo! LiLy - WebToon/Manhwa by Dajiaochong. It's sweet and comforted me during my darkest times at work. INKTOBER 2018. I finally get my ass down on a chair to tackle this challenge and I'm freaking nervous. I want to see myself through all 31 drawings tho.EDIT: I did it :'D Conclusion Thanks for sparing your time for my nonsense. I deeply appreciate that. Have a ni-ah-ce day! |
