For all intents and purposes, my name is Enkay, and I write fanfiction. Or I try to. Sometimes.

Location: Chicago, IL

Occupation: Currently working in an office! Also currently trying to glean a little meaning from this wide-open plain that we call life by writing, reading, watching stuff and listening to a whole bunch of music. Seriously, I feel like my Spotify subscription is the only thing holding my life together sometimes.

Favorites (TV Series): I fell headfirst into Supernatural obsession about a year ago and have yet to recover. I've also got a pretty serious thing for Adventure Time, The Venture Bros., Parks and Recreation, The Boondocks, South Park, Futurama, Archer, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, American Horror Story (especially Coven, because fucking witches), It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Arrested Development, and a number of other things I'm sure I'm forgetting. I'm currently working on Game of Thrones, Hannibal, and Community. The possibility that I'll actually write fanfic for any of these shows is slim to nil (with the exception of South Park, obviously, and Supernatural, probably, because I apparently hate myself), but, uh... never say never, I guess.

Favorites (Movies): I'm honestly much less partial to feature films than longer-form narratives like those found in novels and TV series, but I can't say that I don't have an intense affection for iconic 80s cheese like The Goonies and Back to the Future, dark, offbeat suburban-nightmare movies such as Donnie Darko, and pretty much anything released by Wes Anderson. (I swear to God I'm not a hipster.) I'm also pretty fascinated by what Marvel has been doing with its Avengers franchise. For the most part, though, it's kind of a chore for me to sit down and watch a movie in its entirety. Does anyone else have this problem?

Current Projects: Good Lives. That's, uh... it. On a related note, if you came here looking for information on that particular story, I have good news (everyone)! After about two years of picking it up occasionally, thinking about revising it, then deciding that it's not worth it and forgetting about it again, I've decided that I'm just going to fully revise and then finish the damn thing. So... yeah, when that eventually goes up (with the four current chapters fully revised, as well as an all-new chapter), it will likely be... totally different. But also better! And better is good!

P.S. If you're here looking for a story that I was working on at some point or another and it isn't here, it's because I thought it was awful and I was sick of looking at it. And/or I had no intention of finishing it. Sorry. "Queerer Things" is actually in this category, as well, but people actually seem to like that one, so I left it up for posterity.
