Hello there, and welcome to my profile! You can call me Starluff, Star, Luffy - whatever you feel like calling me, really. I'm seventeen years old (and counting!) and a female (in case you were wondering). I've loved books for as long as I can remember, a love passed onto me from my mother who read me stories before I could read them alone. I mainly read fantasy and... well, honestly, whatever catches my fancy, though fantasy is on the top. I've also developed a fairly recent love for video games, mainly Nintendo, ever since my brother bought a Wii. Best buy he ever made, IMO. Since then I've played Link games, Mario games, and the like, though I feel inclined to mention that Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time shall forever hold a special place in my heart as being the first game I ever really got into and finished.

I am one of those people who has lots of ideas for stories, but no glue to tie the different ideas together. That's really the biggest thing holding me back from starting and finishing a story: I have lots of ideas I want to throw into it but no idea how to tie each idea together. That's why, so far, I've only written one shots: only one idea to contend with.

I'm also something of a temperamental artist: I'm usually very anxious about my stories and rarely ever feel that it is good, seeing only the flaws. So I like it when people tell me what they think, so that I can form an honest opinion :3

Anything else of interest about me? Well, I live in Egypt, and I know Arabic; if you ever wanted to know anything about either topic you can ask me; I don't bite!

Seeing as how I'm getting more and more into the Sherlock Holmes fandom, I think I'd like to make some things known. Oddly enough, I somehow found myself interested in the SH fandom before having had anything to do with it, save watching SHERLOCK BBC. Strange? Extremely. What happened was, I stumbled across a SH fic I really, really, loved. When I finished it, I was ravenous for more, so I read all of the author's works. When I finished those, I looked into his favorites...you can see what happened from there. After I noticed most of what I was reading was part of something called Watson's Woes, I looked it up and found that it was a Livejournal community. So I joined it. I've yet to figure out how to leave. Anyway, what I want to say is that the universes of SH I might write about (since there are so many universes) are the contemporary BBC (as I mentioned earlier), Granada-verse, ACD-canon of course, and both Russian (the classic and the modern) Sherlock Holmes (I watch it with English subtitles, I know no Russian!)
