Author has written 6 stories for Pokémon, Zootopia, Skylanders Academy, and Wings of Fire, Tui T. Sutherland. Like several others, I have a tendency to get obsessed with certain things. Fanfiction tends to feed said obsession. The only thing is that the more fanfiction you feed me, the more I'll demand. I am currently working on a number of projects for both Pokémon and Wings of Fire. Right now, I'm preparing the first installment of Peace of Mind. I go by other names in other places. I'm normally most active on deviantART, where I go by ArbitraryRenaissance as well. You can feel totally free to message me either here or there about anything, and I'll promise to respond. Information and Statuses on my Stories Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Aura of Storms: This was my main story for the first five years of my fanfiction writing career. It loosely has the structure of the other Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games, and originated from a hallucination I got from a 102 degree fever in February of 2013. I started this story in March 2013 with the intention of it being a 30 chapter story, but I quickly got the impression that it was going to end up being closer to 50. It ended up with 49 plus a prologue and an epilogue, so my second impression turned out to be right. I have a personal commentary for each of the chapters that I write right after releasing them; you can find them on my deviantART account. Current Status: Complete. Peace of Mind: I've always wanted to make a short stories series, and I think I've come up with a good premise for one. This theoretical story is going to follow a Meowstic named Mayra. She's in the legal department, and often works as a judge, given her ability to read other Pokémon's minds (an ability several psychic-types possess). She's often prone to travel a lot as well. I'm going to try to avoid being formulaic when I write these chapters; it will end up too much like a legal drama show if I don't. Current Status: Active. The Worst Nightmare: This was a quick one-shotter that I wrote after a bout of inspiration that I had after seeing the movie Zootopia. It was an incredible film, but there was one theme that I felt could have been explored more: primitive instincts. I simply wrote the piece to raise the questions that the movie itself was too busy to address. Current Status: Complete. The Loss of Light: I was driven to write this under similar circumstances that drove me to write The Worst Nightmare. It's a one-shotter that I made after watching Skylanders Academy, a show that I found incredibly funny and filled with likable and memorable characters. I wanted to create an introspective story that delved into Spyro's mind as his soul got twisted and mangled by supernatural forces. Contains season two ending spoilers. Current Status: Complete. An Honest Conversation: A Wings of Fire story, meant to replace chapters 28 and 29 in book 10, which is the penultimate scene in the second arc of the saga. I didn't start out writing it with the intention of "fixing" the ending, but I did end up with an alternate conclusion to the Darkstalker arc that I feel is better than what the original ending offered. I wrote this on a whim, over the course of about a week, just doped up on writing adrenaline. It appears that most of my one-shotters are written that way. Current Status: Complete. Brighter Paths: A Wings of Fire longfic. It's one of the many "what if?" type stories, which are overdone and cliché, but I love them anyway. I have a lot of ideas that I'm ready to throw into this story, and it's shaping up to be the next main story of mine for the forthcoming months. Current Status: Active. My To-Read List The First Fantasy by Agent 57: This story looks really cool. It's currently the only one on this list that isn't Pokémon as well. It's Final Fantasy. That being said, I don't know when I'll get around to reading it, but it's here for now. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Silver Resistance by ScytheRider: Yup, you're reading that right. This is on my to-read list. It's not on my "great stories" list or anything like that. I actually haven't read it yet. Or at least, I'm not up-to-date on it. So yeah. That's, uh...that's gotta get done. I associate my work under Public Domain. All of the characters and ideas that I "own" are free to be used by anyone for any purpose, including commercial purposes. And for all of this you neither need my permission nor do you need to provide credit to me. Although, if you do happen to use my work, you should totally send it my way. I'd love to see it! |
