Hey!

My name is The70boss302...yes the name is based off of the 1970 Boss 302 Mustang.

I am a guy (early 20's). I work in the construction industry; building and remodeling houses. I leave for work at about 6 AM, and usually get home about 6 PM.

The sole reason I am here on this website is because of How to Train Your Dragon. I saw the few trailers of the movie and was inspired to go see it in theaters. I was completely blown away by the movie; the 3-D, the music, the bonding sequences, Toothless... It was incredible. How to Train Your Dragon has been my favorite movie since, along with it; the shorts, the TV show, and of course the second movie. The movie has most certainly been a big part of my life ever since I saw it in that movie theater in 2010.

One of the few regrets I have, is not finding the website called 'FanFiction' sooner. I came across this wonderful site in February of '13, and its lured me in ever since. I remember that the first story that I read was called The Lightning Rider by, Epic Dragon Trainer. I was pleasantly surprised about how descriptive the story was and how imaginative the author was. In just a short period of time I read through a few of the major HTTYD stories and was blown away.

I couldn't believe how developed a story like Hitchups by, The Antic Repartee, or how passionately expressive a story like Only Mine by, Star-Struck Inu was. I was thoroughly amazed by how well-thought out a story like How to Train Your Dragon 2: The Dragon Whisperer by, inhonoredglory, and how ingenious a story like To Soar into the Sunset: A Night Fury's Odd Memoir by, Fjord Mustang was. One of my greatest discoveries though, was how breathtaking, emotional, and suspenseful the story of I Hear Him Scream by, Rift-Raft.

The truth is, I love many of the stories on here. I find it incredible how people can take something as simple as the idea of turning Hiccup into a Night Fury, and turning it into mind-blowing masterpiece. I find it amazing that someone could create an entirely new sequel for movie based upon a boy and his dragon, while writing flawlessly. I find it absolutely remarkable, that a story about a Night Fury mulling over his decision whether or not to kill his human, could bring me to tears. The epidemic of FanFiction is astonishing. I couldn't have asked for a more miraculous place to spend my time.

I say thank you, to FanFiction, for unleashing this place for imagination.

In relation to A Fury's Tribulation:

This was something that has been on my mind ever since 'Truth and Reconciliation' got more emotional between Hiccup and Toothless. It was then that I realized that I never had the chance to to go through the bonding sequence like many other story's have. The Forbidden Friendship scene has always been my favorite regarding HTTYD, and I wanted a chance to write my own version of the sequence. The reasoning for Hiccup becoming a Night Fury was for the benefit of communication and the connections I wanted to make between Hiccup and Toothless. This story will resemble I Hear Him Scream somewhat, But again, I will do my best to differentiate it from the others like it. Each chapter is planned to run anywhere from 6,000 to 10,000 words. I haven't made a final plan for number of chapters yet, but it will most likely end up being 10-15. This story is designed to have drama, it will contain suspense, there will be action and adventure, it will contain the passion and affection that was seen in Forbidden Friendship,Although, there will be No Slash.

In relation to Truth and Reconciliation:

This story came about in my head as I thought about what if Toothless were the main character in HTTYD. I know that Hiccup is still portrayed as the main character, but I wanted to give Toothless a much more important role. This story will resemble Hitchups sort-of, but I've tried very hard to differentiate them. This story will be around 20-25 chapters once complete, with each chapter averaging at least 5000 words. There will be pain, there will be suffering, there will be laughter, there will be heart-felt moments, there will be love and caring, but once again, there will be No Slash.

In relation to The Whole Truth:

This was something that came into my head after having a few scenes where Toothless was not included in Truth and Reconciliation. I wanted to create a story where I could tell what happened to him during those moments. I wanted to include the reader on all of the thoughts that Toothless had going through his head while trying to deal with his troublesome human. I tried to give this story the friendship that was seen in the film. I tried to recreate the imaginative features of Toothless and give him the angst that he seemingly withheld. I included No Slash throughout the story.

The Whole Truth- Chapter 3 is in progress, I need make some edits then back to the Co-Writer. About 1,000 words. On pause.
