Author has written 15 stories for Phineas and Ferb, Suite Life series, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, and Ed, Edd n Eddy. Name: Silver Birthday: May 14th... I expect virtual wishes and presents :p Gender: Female, girl, lady, chica... Location: NYC!!! Collabs: /s/11076467/1/ About me (as a person): I'm Half-Indian, Half-white, with some West Indies mixed in there. Don't ask. Anyway, I embrace both sides. I take a lot of inspiration from Bollywood movies. I am, in fact, a stereotypical nerd. I have glasses, though I don't really wear them as much as contacts anymore. I'm a cancer survivor, but that makes me anything but sympathetic, actually. I can't stand people who complain about their problems, no matter how big. Just get back up again (hypocrite alert!). I'm super sweet to acquaintances, super annoying to my friends, and super mean to my family and besties. Basically, the meaner I am to you, the more I love you... because I know you won't take it to heart. I don't know whether I'm girly or not. I love romantic stories. I love jewelery, perfume, and clothes, but I hate shopping. I hate watching sports, but I'd pick an action movie over a chick flick any day. About Me (as a writer): Well, I kind of stalked around here on for a little while, just to read something... I think. Honestly, I don't even remember what it was now. I finally worked up the guts to anonymously review, but then after a while, I was like, I have all these ideas, I should seriously just start writing! I love it, but it can be kind of hard. I'm a tougher critic than I am a perfect writer. Feel free to PM me about stories or betareading or even just to chat. Getting on my favorites list is the highest honor you can receive from me because it means I adore and have adored everything you write for a long time. It has nothing to do with how awesome you may be as a person. The same goes for stories. Fav movies: I like various movies but I love: All Pirates of the Caribbean, all Star Wars, all Marvel Superheroes, all Batman, all Indiana Jones, all Harry Potter, all Pixar, all Dreamworks, and most classic Disney movies. Fav shows: Phineas and Ferb, Suite Life, Hey Arnold, Kim Possible, iCarly, Zoey 101, Drake and Josh, Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Victorious, Recess, Edd, Ed, and Eddy, Spongebob Squarepants, Fairly Oddparents, Danny Phantom, Invader Zim, Rugrats, Proud Family, Avatar (Last Airbender and Legend of Korra), House of Mouse...so many I couldn't count! Mainly cartoons, I see. I'm internally and eternally a child. I hope you feel like you know me a little better now! SHIPPING: Oh yes, I am in fact one of those crazy shippers. I'm not so much crazy as I am pretty dedicated. I literally fall for the pairings; I don't decide which ones I adore. As a result, I tend to go with some pretty peculiar ships. I haven't written about any of these (yet!), but some are Seddie & Cibby (iCarly), Robbie/Tori (Victorious), Choey, Quogan, & Lola/Michael (Zoey 101), Helga/Arnold (HA!), Billy/Mandy (Grim Adventures), Kim/Ron & Drakken/Shego (KP), and Canderemy (P&F) and Cailey (SLOD) of course! So those are couples I have not written about yet. I might, I might not. The couples I have written about must be defended now! Why? Because they're a little unpopular, so I want to show there IS justification behind them. Ferbella: Well, if Dan and Swampy were digging a hole with Quantum Boogaloo, I fell right in. Ever since it was suggested that maybe, just maybe, Ferb could marry Isabella, I wanted it to happen. Always go for the long shots, kids! Unfortunately, people seem to really hate on it. Why? There is evidence of Ferb possibly liking Isabella. He didn't seem disgusted by the idea of marrying her; he winked! In Canderemy, our little Ferb smiles pretty huge when he gets to go to the movie with Phineas and Isabella. In the Beak, he was totally upset when she didn't give him credit for being a superhero. And in Summer Belongs to You, Ferb is the one to comfort Isabella, all alone. And when they sit there, with the sunset, after both just being rejected, how can you not find that romantic? Well, let's put up the opposition then: Ferbnessa and Phinabella. First of all, Vanessa now has Monty, and I think they're kind of cute. Therefore, there is even less chance of her getting together with, let's face it, a child. Second, Vanessa left Ferb all alone in Paris, without a goodbye! There has never been another Ferbnessa moment again, because she broke his heart, and I think she was just a crush he got over. Ok, moving on to Phinabella. I love Phineas, with all my heart. So maybe I just dislike Phinabella because I think he's too good for Isabella. But I honestly think he doesn't like her the way she likes him. Clearly he kind of gets romance, he understood how Candace and Ferb were in love in Paris. But he doesn't see Isabella that way. I'm not saying he's never going to, but right now, he doesn't. Also, ever notice, like how in the Beak, Phineas fiddles with his ear when he lies? Well, when Isabella tries to share a "Romantic Dinner for Two" drink with him in Doofapus, he says no, because he doesn't like zucchini, while fiddling with his ear. Why would he lie? Hmm? Plus, I really hate Isabella, but the song City of Love really gets to me. She's so sad by the end. ISABELLA WAKE UP! FERB, YOU TOO! YOU DESERVE SOMEONE BETTER FOR YOU! Like each other. Oh, and screw Act Your Age. Ferb and Isabella are going to marry each other. I don't really care if they do end up dating Vanessa and Phineas, that's temporary. Rant over. Zondon/Lock: This is really a show of growth over like six seasons of a show. Zack and London didn't even interact in TSLOZ&C. But you can see that they spend time together all the time in the second show. They do every single project together. You see them talking to each other all the time. They get into all kinds of schemes, from fake girlfriends to fake artists. I feel like Zack teaches London how to be a better person, like when he tells her she should have shared the money from his art. And clearly he has strong feelings for her, considering he defended her in Woody's Sister when she couldn't even remember his name. On that subject, in the same episode, in the beginning, London calls him Zack when she goes into the classroom. So mistaking him for Cody is clearly another example of London pretending to be dumber than she is to hide her real feelings, with another example being her attacking Maya in My, Oh Maya. You could all see in the beginning, she was clearly just saying lines Zack had given her. So obviously she knew this was a fake thing, and her real jealousy might have come through. And how come Zack and London go to every dance stag, but end up dancing together? And since the horribly conceived couple Zaya broke up, and Zack and London are still friends, well, it's only a matter of time before they realize what's going on in their hearts. Mac/Goo: Aww, they don't have a couple name. Okay, we all know Mac is the perfect guy. He's cute, smart, sensible, logical, nice, honest, and as sweet as the sugar he stays away from. But since he's so perfect and levelheaded, he needs a crazy person to balance him out. And before anybody says anything, he needs someone his own age, NOT FRANKIE, and yes, he needs a human, so NOT BLOO (or any other imaginary friends you're willing to throw out there). And in comes Goo! She's quirky, she's weird, she's funny, she's cute, and she's exactly what Mac needs. It's just too fun to watch her irritate him and raise his blood pressure and heart rate. But in the long run, he really likes *coughlovescough* her at the end of the day. And Goo adores Mac, in every episode and moment they're together. Plus, they need real friends. And you know, eventually, they're going to grow up, but they'll both still be kids at heart, and they're going to really notice the person who was there for them the whole time. Eddy/Sarah: Okay, by now you should know I hate obsessive creepy crushes that shows try to push on you (Phinabella, Ferbnessa, Timmy/Tootie, Panini/Chowder, Marcus/London, Mac/Frankie, Irwin/Mandy, Creddie...), holy crap, that's a lot. That includes Eds and Kankers. EW. My only exception to that is Hanky-Panky Hullaboo, and that's because May and Double D developed like so much, I'd be shipping them in that episode regardless of mountain sprites. Anyway, it also includes Sarah's crush on Double D. Anyway, nothing is more fun than watching Eddy and Sarah fight, it's one of the best parts of that show. Nothing says love/hate like those two. They have crazy chemistry. Enough said. Yes, I realize these are fictional characters. I'm just trying to prove a point. And the best writers are able to treat their characters like real people. Totally Unnecessary Junk!!!! How the Trump Stole America ~ John Pavlovitz, 2016 In a land where the states are united, they claim, In a sky-scraping tower adorned with his name, Lived a terrible, horrible, devious chump, The bright orange miscreant known as the Trump. This Trump he was mean, such a mean little man, With the tiniest heart and two tinier hands, And a thin set of lips etched in permanent curl, And a sneer and a scowl and contempt for the world. He looked down from his perch and he grinned ear to ear, And he thought, “I could steal the election this year! It’d be rather simple, it’s so easily won, I’ll just make them believe that their best days are done!" “Yes, I’ll make them believe that it’s all gone to Hell, And I’ll be Jerk Messiah and their souls they will sell. And I’ll use lots of words disconnected from truth, But I’ll say them with style so they won’t ask for proof.” “I’ll speak random platitudes, phrases, and such, They’re so raised on fake news that it won’t matter much! They won’t question the how to, the what, why, or when, I will make their America great once again!” The Trump told them to fear, they should fear he would say, “They’ve all come for your jobs, they’ll all take them away. You should fear every Muslim and Mexican too, Every brown, black, and tan one, everyone who votes blue!” And he fooled all the Christians, he fooled them indeed, He just trotted out Jesus, that’s all Jesus folk need. And celebrity preachers they crowned him as king, Tripping over themselves just to kiss the Trump’s ring. And he spoke only lies just as if they were true, Until they believed all of those lies were true too. He repeated and tweeted, he blustered and spit, And he misled and fibbed — and he just made up shit. And the media laughed but they printed each line, Thinking, “He’ll never win, in the end we’ll be fine.” So they chased every headline, bold typed every claim, ‘Till the fake news and real news, they looked just the same. And the scared folk who listened, they devoured each word, Yes, they ate it all up every word that they heard, Petrified that their freedom was under attack, Trusting Trump, he would take their America back. From the gays and from ISIS, he’d take it all back, Take it back from the Democrats, fat cats, and blacks. And so hook, line, and sinker they all took the bait, All his lies about making America great. Now the Pantsuited One, she was smart and prepared, She was brilliant and steady, but none of them cared, No, they cared not to see all the work that she’d done, Or the fact that the Trump had not yet done thing one. They could only shout “Emails!”, yes “Emails!” they’d shout, Because Fox News had told them—and Fox News had clout. And the Pantsuited One she was slandered no end, And a lie became truth she could never defend. And the Trump watched it all go according to plan— A strong woman eclipsed by an insecure man. And November the 8th arrived, finally it came, Like a slow-moving storm but it came just the same. And Tuesday became Wednesday as those days will do, And the night turned to morning and the nightmare came true, With millions of non-voters still in their beds, Yes, the Trump he had done it, just like he had said. And the Trumpers they trumped, how they trumped when he won, All the racists and bigots; deplorable ones, They crawled out from the woodwork, came out to raise Hell, They came out to be hateful and hurtful as well. With slurs and with road signs, with spray paint and tweets, With death threats to neighbors and taunts on the street. And the grossest of grossness they hurled on their peers, While the Trump he said zilch—for the first time in years. But he tweeted at Hamilton, he tweeted the Times, And he trolled Alec Baldwin a few hundred times, And he pouted a pout like a petulant kid, Thinking this is what Presidents actually did, Thinking he could still be a perpetual jerk, Terrified to learn he had to actually work, Work for every American, not just for a few, Not just for the white ones—there was much more to do. He now worked for the Muslims and Mexicans too, For the brown, black, and tan ones, and the ones who vote blue. They were all now his bosses, now they all had a say, And those nasty pantsuited ones were here to stay. And the Trump, he soon realized that he didn’t win, He had gotten the thing—and the thing now had him. And it turned out the Trump was a little too late, For America was already more than quite great, Not because of the sameness, the opposite’s true, It’s greatness far more than just red, white, and blue, It’s straight, gay, and female—it’s Gentile and Jew, It’s Transgender and Christian and Atheist too. It’s Asians, Caucasians of every kind, The disabled and abled, the deaf and the blind, It’s immigrants, Muslims, and brave refugees, It’s Liberals with bleeding hearts fixed to their sleeves. And we are all staying, we’re staying right here, And we’ll be the great bane of the Trump for four years. And we’ll be twice as loud as the loudness of hate, Be the greatness that makes our America great. And the Trump’s loudest boasts they won’t ever obscure, For over two million more of us — voted for her. Why are there so many people who believe they respect all religions, but still fill pages of Christian beliefs, captioned with "repost if you believe in God"? Why are there so many people who are against abortion, who never consider that without it, a woman will be unfairly forced into a pregnancy she never wanted? Why do so many people claim they never roll with the crowd, yet they add their name to a list of people who do the same thing? Complain, flame, or agree with me; I don't care. I'm 100% Atheist, 100% pro-choice, and 1000% me. - HigherSilver If you have ever had a crush on a cartoon character, copy and paste this on your profile and add the name(s) of the characters you have crushed on : Phineas Flynn, Mac, Arnold, Timmy Turner, Jeremy Johnson, Ron Stoppable, Danny Fenton I might have a problem. And I still have a crush on all of them. At least they're all human. List your 12 favorite characters in no particular order. Phineas and Ferb 1. Phineas 2. Ferb 3. Isabella 4. Candace 5. Jeremy 6. Buford 7. Baljeet 8. Perry 9. Doof 10. Monogram 11. Vanessa 12. Monty 1) Have you read a 6 / 11 fanfic before? Buford and Vanessa. No, never. I'm pretty sure they've never said anything to each other. Although that could be interesting... 2) Do you think 4 is hot? How hot? Candace... well, I'm not crazy about her hairstyle, and Vanessa is WAY ahead of her in the curves department, but, hey, she has a cutie boyfriend, I don't... so, I guess. 3) Do you recall any fics about 9? Yuppers. Umm, most recently, maybe Take Two, the bloopers story? 4) Would 2 and 6 make a good couple? Ferb and Buford; well, I'm thinking they're straight, because of crushes on Vanessa and Brigitte, but even if they weren't, I'd say no. Not a dynamic enough couple. Ferb would probably go along complacently with whatever Byoof says, and there's an intelligence gap. 5) 5/9 or 5/10? Jeremy plus Doof or Monogram! NO! No no no! And how many times must I say, don't sleep with your guitar teacher! Urgh, well if I must choose, probably Doof, since Monogram is still married. *Shudders at thought of this couple* 6) Make up a summary of a 3/10 fanfic. A curious Isabella, while looking for Pinky, falls down into one of his lair entrances. Instead of wiping her memory, Wanda hires her as an intern, and sends her to Monogram's division. Will Isabella grow into the OWCA's greatest agent, under the wise eye of Major Monogram, or will a jealous Carl succeed in getting her out of the picture? BOOM! Who wouldn't want to read that? 7) Is there any 1/8 fluff? Phineas and Perry? Yeah, not romantically, more like "a boy and his platypus" kind of thing. 8) Suggest a title for a 7/12 hurt/comfort fic. "Advice"... yeah, that's all I got. 9) Does anyone on your friends list read 3? Umm... duh! As much as I hate her, almost every story has Isabella. 10) Does anyone on your friends list draw or write 11? Yeah, I think she seems kind of fun to draw. I'd put her in a prettier outfit though. 11) Would you ever write a 2/4/5 friendship fic? I could, but it would be more like awkward Ferb in the middle of his sister's romance. 12) What might 10 scream in a great moment of passion? "Great googly moogly!" 13) If you wrote a song fic about 8 what song would you use? Does his theme song count? 14) If you wrote a 1/6/12 fic what would the warning be? Warning : Excessive male stupidity 15) What would be a good pick up line for 10 to use on 2? "Hey kid, need a ride home from school?" You can interpret that anyway you want... |
