Hey guys, welcome! This is ShakespeareanHoneyBadgers, the moniker I have decided to take on due to my shift of focus to OUAT. I have a few stories that I have chosen not to transfer to this account, "Mr. and Mrs. Gold" being the most notable.

About Me: I'm a young woman living in the U.S. who has been writing fanfiction since I started writing in general (around the first grade). I've published a few things, but I'm far from being able to quit my day job as a dishwasher. I'm also in school for a certification in Graphic Design to eventually be a webmaster. I watched the pilot of "Once Upon a Time" when it aired, but since I'm not a huge t.v. watcher I forgot about it. Then my friend urged me into it late in the first season...aaaand I watched seventeen episodes in 48 hours to prepare for the premiere of "The Stable Boy". I battled with not writing fanfiction so I could focus on my original works all during the hiatus...breaking down around August and doing a couple of one-shots before starting my longest story to-date. Things just kind of fell out of my hands after that.

Why I Write:

It's not because I want to be recognized or praised (though these are very nice things). It's not all about getting my ideas on paper or expressing myself, or else I'd keep my stories to myself. The main reason why I write is best expressed through this poem by Emily Dickinson:

IF I can stop one heart from breaking, I shall not live in vain;

If I can ease one life the aching, Or cool one pain,

Or help one fainting robin Unto his nest again,
