Author has written 8 stories for Doctor Who, Dragon Ball Z, and Slender. My name's Lily. I'm currently going through a Dragon Ball phase and have been for the last three years. I'm learning to speak Japanese (as in studying it. I can barely communicate, not like I've tried.) and I have a dream of someday being able to read manga in its original form. Just a warning, The Way of the Prince and The Butterfly Effect are good. Care and Opposites Attract, I wrote when I was 13. I'm so glad to have FanFiction because in my town nobody that I'm friends with knows anything about Dragon Ball, Z or otherwise. And if any of you care, I'm currently writing a new story that I swear will be better and longer than anything I've posted yet. If you've accidentally read Opposites Attract or Care, let me remind you again: I wrote them when I was 13. My current writing is not like that. At the very least, I now have a pretty good grasp of punctuation To me, the Dragon Ball manga is superior to the anime, but to each their own of course. I like One Piece's anime more than the manga (the art, and you really can't beat those One Piece voice actors! Mayumi Tanaka, Hiroaki Hirata, Kazuya Nakai, and everyone else). One Piece is my current obsession, but I can't say whether you'll be seeing any stories about that from me. My other interests include drawing (I do all my own cover pictures! Not like it matters, as I usually stick to pencils and paper and it's hard to translate that to a computer), theatre (watching, doing, and creating, thank you very much), Game Grumps, Fun., Monty Python's Flying Circus, Sherlock, Orphan Black etc. In terms of Japanese entertainment other than Dragon Ball, I like Dr. Slump, Fullmetal Alchemist, Studio Ghibli (Joe Hisaishi is my idol), Beauty Pop (yeah, I know), Death Note, Bakuman, Yotsuba&!, Astro Boy, Picasso, and Hikaru no Go. Also, I like Chris Sabat's name. And TeamFourStar is good. Dragon Ball Pact: "This pact is meant to hold together the remaining fans of Dragon Ball/Z/GT. Whether you like the FUNimation dub or the Ocean dub, whether you like the manga or the anime, whether you say 'Saiyan' or 'Saiyajin', we must stand strong and united, for we are the last of our dying race. And all those who are true fans, post this up on your page, forever proclaiming your Dragon Ball heritage. Be proud, for you are a true Saiyan!" ~Lily Sang, who is in love with the manga but who will not finish the anime until she has finished One Piece, who says "Saiyan" but knows why people say "Saiyajin", and who hopes she counts as a true fan! |
