![]() Author has written 11 stories for Warriors, and Percy Jackson and the Olympians. AS OF NOVEMBER 24TH, I HAVE OFFICIALLY BEEN ON FFN FOR A WHOLE YEAR. :3 It feels like so little and yet so much time. I like that little red diamond next to my penname in the forums. I also very much love my new avatar. :D The cave lies hidden deep in the forest, half covered with soft moss and lichen, the entrance draped with long, slender vines of ivy with abundant, glossy leaves. Tall, leafy trees surround the clearing, their thick branches swaying lightly in the warm spring breeze. Birds sing sweetly in the trees or peck around their roots, filling the air with song and the forest with color. Small forest animals run in and out of the roots, chattering to each other and scrambling for food. The entire clearing is dotted with colorful spring flowers, many clustering together by the tumbling silver brook, which winds its way through the clearing before flowing softly out into the forest filled with mystery and adventure. Welcome to my secret den in the forest! Stay as long as you like, enjoy the beautiful day. It's always nice here. ...in other words, welcome to my profile. About me: Name: Call me Moon, Gazer, Moony, or Moongazer. Age: *coughcough* Ah, no. Not telling. I learned something from computer class, you know. Gender: I am female and proud of it. My previous pen name(s): Moongazer13 Quick tidbit: you should really join my forum, ImagineClan (link somewhere lower in my profile) because the month of November is going to be unbelievably fun. You are definitely not going to want to miss out. And by the time it's over, I bet you'll love it there and stay and post lots and have fun and life can be sunshine and rainbows. :333 I am a Ravenpuff. :D My fursonas include: Moonstar, a silvery-white she-cat with green eyes. This I use the most, especially in my forum, ImagineClan, in RP. This is also the one that my lovely sister Gray drew for me on DeviantART, here: http:///art/Moonstar-of-ImagineClan-385452480. Sunstream, a golden she-cat from RiverClan. At least I think she's golden. I forget now. And I find it ironic that one of my cat names is Moon- and the other is Sun-. x3 I love to read and write. I can easily finish a novel or two a day-possibly more. I am working on developing my writing skills, which is partially why I'm here. I'm teaching myself creative writing. :3 Hopefully I'll succeed. I want to publish my own books one day, one of poetry and one novel, among other ambitions and life goals that I have envisioned for myself. I'm actually working on my book now, but it's on a little bit of a hiatus while I figure out the plot and work on my fanfictions for practice. I have read lots and lots and lots of books; Warriors, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, The Heroes Of Olympus, The Kane Chronicles, Artemis Fowl, Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, A Little Princess, Little Women, Little Men, Jo's Boys...and tons more that I can't remember at the moment. And even if I could remember all of them, I wouldn't have space to list them here. I would easily choose to read or write over watching TV. That's just my nature. I love FFN, because it's just so much fun. And I've met a whole bunch of awesome people via this. I have so many great friends here on FFN. I like Nutella. :3 (this has got to be an epidemic. Most of everyone I know on FFN loves Nutella too much to be true-or healthy.) I am comfortable and confident with who I am, and no one can change that. I am proud to be me. :D I try to be fun and upbeat, but I've been told that apparently I am frightening when I'm angry. *shrugs* Who knew? But I try to be kind and helpful and as good of a friend as I can be. I also really, really, really like reviews on my stories (what author doesn't?), so if you'd review my stories, I'd be eternally grateful. :) As my readers may have noticed, I am a very irregular updater. But there are reasons to this. One is that I am always very busy, even on vacation. The other is that I have so many unfinished stories going on at one time that I'm always switching between pieces. I have a couple of stories that I need to write for, numerous challenges for numerous forums, and half-done stories that I really want to finish before I lose inspiration, not to mention that I always have dozens of ideas for stories that I want to write floating around my head. So yeah, irregular updates are to be expected. :D My FFN family (jeez, it's huge): Sisters: Lotus/Caramel (Caramelight): Although she seems very random and hyper, Lotus loves ImagineClan and her friends and has spent hours at the computer on FFN (what else?). She loves referring to cheese in her forum posts, though whether she actually loves cheese that much remains a mystery to all of us who know her. She is also my official story-cover creator, and she is fantastic with Photoshop. Gray (Graywhisper): Gray is fun-loving and energetic, sweet and bubbly, often tries to play the peace-maker along with me when others argue, and is wholeheartedly devoted to ImagineClan and her online friends and family. Ask her anytime, and she will always reply that it is a fantastic forum to be in. Stormeh (Stormy loves the Mentalist): Friendly and outgoing, Stormeh is always willing to talk. She especially loves the color green, and is always extra-excited when she hits upon an amazing discovery. Stormeh trusts her friends a lot, and can frequently be found just hanging out in ImagineClan. Rain (Dancing in Moonlit Rain): Rain is a bouncy, energetic kitteh who loves to play games with her friends. She is always happy and optimistic, always full of ideas, and she loves to write. ImagineClan was her first love, and now you can find her there nearly every day, just hanging out. Joy (Joy of Joys): Joy is another lovely kitteh, though admittedly calmer than a good chunk of ImagineClan's population. She is particularly fond of the virtual café there, and spends her days placidly chatting with friends and eating heather and honey cakes. Brother: Heterica: Heterica has, unfortunately left FFN, and we've kinda given up on seeing him again, since his account was hacked and made inaccessible. But he was always kinda random and...yeah, it's kind of hard to describe him. His parting note to me was this: "Moongazer- You were the kindest and most gracious to me even when I was being an a*." (yeah, I'm not willing to put uncensored bad words in my profile.) Twinsy: Explosions (ExplosionsAreFun): Explosions is a very friendly, highly energetic kitty who never seems to be standing still. She is frequently on ImagineClan, posting away and roleplaying various romances with her fellow authors. She is a hugely supportive friend, who somehow manages to spare 25 hours a day for her online buddies. She is equally loving of her pet cat and Pokémon, and she is always ready to be random and your best friend. Daughters: Hunter (Huntress of Sacred Dreams): Hunter is in multiple forums yet somehow always manages to check in frequently on ImagineClan. She loves to write (a lot), and has completed all her ImagineClan challenges with astonishing rapidity. This lovely Aussie loves FFN just as much as the rest of us do, and can be found at any time writing or requesting her next challenges, chatting amiably with other kitties, or possibly eating Nutella from the jar (with a spoon, most likely). Whatsy (Whatsy): Whatsy loves Green Day. Period. She will never let it go if someone dares to insult her favorite bands, and is always engaging in battles about bold print with her second wifey, Fallen. Whatsy loves her friends very, very much, and can frequently be found on the numerous forums that she has joined, chatting, and being random and borderline hyper. She expresses love by nomming on peoples' hair. You have been warned. Swifteh (Swyfte): to be added Niece: Silver/Saku (Silver Sakura-hime): to be added Pets: Candy (CandyBunnies): to be added Fabio (the garter snake): Unfortunately, Fabio doesn't really belong to me, but this baby garter snake is so adorable that it's impossible to help loving him. My right to claim: he was moving around in my hands, and hardly in anyone else's. 8D We were introduced during science class and I was the only one whom he'd respond to. :3 Unfortunately, I only held him once, as he was released into the wild the very same day he was caught. When I'm down and feeling like all is lost, this is where I hide. When I'm happy and want to tell the world about it, this is where I shout. When all I want is to disappear into a world filled with wonderful people, this is where I come. Where is this place, you ask? There is no other place but FanFiction.net that can be the place I speak of. All the forums that I'm in... I am a member of nine forums. Yes, I'm certainly busy. XD These are the ones that I'm active in (at least I try my best to be): ImagineClan, my own forum, where I'm known as Moonstar. We do everything from offering writing help or chatting to playing games and providing a place to let your imagination run wild. Join and become a member so you can share in the awesomeness. WillowClan, where I am Silverpaw. This forum is always busy, filled with games and fun and often utter randomness. HailClan, where I am Fawnpaw, future deputy. ;D This is a baby forum, but it's steadily growing into an awesome, fun place to be. SecretClan, where I am Featherpaw. A few writers are currently working to restore it to its former glory, when we had all kinds of fun there and it was never quiet. FroggyClan. This forum was once inactive, but now we're trying to get it back to the days when we loved to hang out there. We've got all sorts of awesome new threads and games and lots of fun stuff. And these are pretty much inactive, I think: FunClan (where I was named Cedarpaw), Dawnbright75's HiddenClan (where I was named Silverpaw), CaramelClan (where I am the deputy, Moonblossom), and Isil and Anar (a forum where you can learn to speak Quenya, the language of the elves in LotR.) These are some of my ideas for future stories or for the ones that I am working on and will hopefully post soon. Upcoming: You Are My Everything (Warriors): Maybe love can start out like this, sweet and simple, two cats in love with each other but not knowing the other's true feelings. Maybe, after their confessions of love, they can look forward to a long, happy future together. But then maybe there could be a tragic twist in the mix, one that tears apart love, drowns cats in grief, and loosens reason until it hangs on by one thin thread that could snap any moment. Maybe there could be a heartbreaking struggle to regain what was there before, to show that all is not lost, to prove that love is undying and eternal. After all, when are happy endings ever simple? Ideas for the future: Moongazer: Flower in the Moonlight (Warriors): MoonClan has always had a Moongazer, the one who is always there to save the clans from peril. Follow Lilyflower on her life's journey, as she learns about her powers, finds love, and discovers the lengths that a jealousy-driven cat will go to to destroy her Clan. Flash (Artemis Fowl): This is my take on how I think Artemis got his memory back after TLG, possibly how his family reacts to seeing him back from the dead. Will probably contain spoilers for the entire series - be warned! Hidden in the Mist (Percy Jackson and the Olympians): Demigod Cora hasn't been claimed, and she's already thirteen. Apparently Athena swore on the River Styx that Cora had already been claimed by her godly parent-so what happened? Her world becomes even weirder when her memories of herself and her past disappear. The only answers for Cora lie at the end of a dangerous quest-which will uncover old gods, new threats, shocking stories, and secrets that the gods will go to extraordinary lengths to hide. My story plushies. I really do need more, don't I? Aura: from Daughter of the Sun (ShoutFinder)Mintwhisker: from Illusions (DahliaStarr)Quotes and stuff: "About my name — Artemis — you were right. In London, it is generally a female name, after the Greek goddess of archery. But every now and then a male comes along with such a talent for hunting that he earns the right to use the name. I am that male. Artemis the hunter. I hunted you."-Artemis Fowl, The Eternity Code "The kinds of friends you want are the kinds that would stand behind you with a chainsaw, ready to strangle whatever unfortunate wimp irritated you." -Me "Well, throughout the entire emotional roller-coaster, we'll always be there. With the motion-sickness medicine."-Me If you've ever wished you could go into a book and strangle some of the characters for being so incredibly dumb, copy and paste this into your profile. If you spend multiple hours each day reading and/or writing, copy and paste this onto your profile. If you've been on the computer for hours on end, reading numerous fanfictions, copy this into your profile. Today, writers are scorned because of those too unversed to know. Disdained, because of the those too ignorant to believe. Despised, because of the realists who are too afraid to dream. Misunderstood, because others are too unsure to try. But we, as writers, know them to be wrong. A writer is a person who dreams. A writer is a person who wishes. A writer is a person who escapes. A writer is a person who lives. A writer is a person who is not afraid. A writer is a person who strives. A person who expresses. A person who believes. A person who understands. A person who knows. I am a writer. I dream of a world where anything is possible. I wish for a world where war is just a myth. I escape into a world where I can predict the future. I live in a world of joy and mystery. I am not afraid of the world I create. I strive in the world where others give up. I express myself in ways othersdare not try. I believe in things others are too afraid to trust. I understand things others cannot, in a way that others cannot. I know, in ways that others deny. I AM A WRITER. Quoted in ImagineClan by The Skystorm, posted immediately on my profile. Add your name and copy and paste if you think that was truly beautiful. The Last Moongazer, You Know You're a Writer When; Every time you hear a song, you think of a new story or one you've already written. Th-th-that's All, Folks! (Have some Nutella before you go. And review my stories too.) | |||||||
