![]() Author has written 33 stories for Lord of the Rings, Hobbit, Dexter, A song of Ice and Fire, Lion King, Silmarillion, Star Trek: 2009, and StarTrek: The Original Series. Welcome! I hope you will enjoy my random ramblings about fictional worlds that don't belong to me. I am usually lost in Middle Earth, and I like spending my time imaging how our beloved heroes from Lord of the Rings/Hobbit acted as children... Where they little angels or demons from hell? Did they protect their siblings, or did they tease them mercilessly? Sometimes I post of another fandom, usually A song of Ice and Fire, and some of my stories are translated to my mother tongue (Greek). Work in progress: Tales of War... One chapter long stories of incidents that happened during the years that led to the War of the Ring. Main protagonists: Eomer, Eowyn, Theodred, Lothiriel, Imrahil, Amrothos, Denethor. I also post original short stories, mainly fantasy/sci-fi, at my blog at wordpress, named afooldreamer... Posting from Dol Amroth, Gondor, Middle Earth. "Before reaching the final line, however, he had already understood that he would never leave that room, for it was foreseen that the city of mirrors (or mirages) would be wiped out by the wind and exiled from the memory of men at the precise moment when Aureliano Babilonia would finish deciphering the parchments, and that everything written on them was unrepeatable since time immemorial and forever more, because races condemned to one hundred years of solitude did not have a second opportunity on earth." (One hundred years of solitude, Gabriel Garcia Marquez) "But no living man am I! You look upon a woman. Éowyn I am, Éomund's daughter. You stand between me and my lord and kin. Begone, if you be not deathless! For living or dark undead, I will smite you, if you touch him... "(The Return of the King, The Lord of the Rings, JRR Tolkien) "As they sailed farther from the coast, the sky darkened and more stars came out. Percy studied the constellations—the ones Annabeth had taught him so many years ago. “Bob says hello,” he told the stars." (The House of Hades, The Heroes of Olympus, Rick Riordan) "When she danced, men killed themselves, knowing they would never again see such beauty. She had four lovers in Kiev, each richer than the other, but her heart was so cold that she could hold ice in her mouth and it would never melt." (Deathless, Catherynne M. Valente) "A bit of a fool you might say, but all dreamers are fools." (A Dance with Dragons, GRR Martin) "If you are going to die, ser, before you say her name, I will hunt you through all seven hells." (Oberyn Martell, A Storm of swords, GRR Martin) "Our choices can alter the details. That's how we rebel against destiny." (The sword of summer, Rick Riordan) |
