Hi there, I'm That Was Real Subtle Bentley, or TWRSB, or Subtle - WHATEVER.

Just your typical nerdy uni student trying to get on with life without procrastinating everything I do. I am also an avid gamer and the fact that I am female tends to bamboozle people too... weird. My main fuel source is cider (EDIT: a single hangover changed this... no more. SECOND EDIT: I've weened myself back on, it's all good!).

I currently write stories for The Sims, Sly Cooper and Ratchet & Clank. I'm happy to take some story requests, which I may either integrate into larger stories, or turn them into their own thing.

I've been playing Ratchet & Clank for the last 15 years, Sly for the last 13, and The Sims for the last 7. Hopefully the amount of time I've invested into all of these games means I've captured all the characters and their personalities successfully :P (it's an unhealthy amount)

If there's a story that hasn't been updated for a while, give me a nudge and I'll see what I can do.

I may also take requests, so if there's something (like character fluff) that you're dying to read and find there's a shortage of it on this site, hit me up and I'll see what I can do.

Games I'm playing now:

Halo 2 (Xbox) - this was the best-selling game on the Xbox and now I'm about to see why.

Borderlands (PlayStation 3) - Finished the first playthrough and currently on my second one - it's tough.

Tomb Raider (PlayStation) - I first played this when I just was a toddler. I sucked at it though, hopefully I'm a little better this time.

Spyro: Reignited Trilogy (PlayStation 4) - I love this. I've already 120%-ed the first game. I had the first as a kid and the second and third games more recently. They are really nice-looking, nice-feeling games. A lot of fun!

Story Stats

Most viewed - Why Did You Do It, Penelope? (Sly Cooper) - Personally, I'm not keen on this one. I was finding my feet with it, but now I have something better planned. But since so many people have shown an interest in it, I keep it up.

Most followed - My Savior, My Lifeline (The Walking Dead (Game)) - this has recently had a little spike in activity, and is now the most-followed story I've released on here. This is amazing and I am humbled.

Most favourited - My Savior, My Lifeline (The Walking Dead (Game)) - same deal, I'm having a lot of fun writing this at the moment. Already 5,000 words into chapter 7, this is gonna be a long one.

Most reviewed - My Savior, My Lifeline (The Walking Dead (Game)) - some of the responses have cracked me up for this.

Stories - I don't really have a regular update schedule, and I can't promise it'll become regular. Anything that's finished will be released, but it won't be for a specific story. One thing to add is that if there is more feedback for a story, that will be prioritised. It's almost like a system where if there's a demand, I will meet said demand. It allows me to gauge who's more interested in what really. I have so many little and large things to work on, so, stay tuned!

Be Somebody (The Sims) - In progress, first chapter will be extended.

Fight of Fancy (Sly Cooper) - Cancelled, will delete when rewrite is released. You may as well check of Sly Cooper And The Amnesiac Tag-Along if you're interested, as that is intended to reboot the universe I'm writing.

My Savior, My Lifeline (The Walking Dead) - Alex was alone when Clementine found her and since then they've been through thick and thin. But in this world you inevitably lose the people you love. When Clementine arrives at Ericson's Boarding School, who would have imagined that she would find her long-lost companion here? As Clementine waves off Louis' advances, she realises her feelings for Alex are different from before.

Occupational Differences (Ratchet & Clank) - Sasha, despite being in love with Ratchet, feels that their relationship is no longer sustainable. How will she break it to the lombax, and how will he react? Prequel to Reflection.

Reflection (Ratchet & Clank) - Complete, sequel is in the works! I will also be extending all chapters, as I feel they're a tad short and could have more detail. On that note, any constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated!

Sly Cooper And The Amnesiac Tag-Along (Sly Cooper) - In progress, Part 1 of the Amnesiac Saga.

The Father And The Daughter (Ratchet & Clank) - "This place is a deathtrap and I have my daughter strapped to my back. Angela's going to kill me..." Mom's at work, and Ratchet is on baby duty. But when a new series of MegaCorp Security Robots go berserk in the Bogan Galaxy, Ratchet is the only one who can help. Will Ratchet be able to stop it with a toddler in tow? And how soon will it be until he feels Mom's wrath?

Three Little Words (Sly Cooper) - "Get a grip girl, they're only words. Three little words that can change everything." Penelope wants to tell Bentley something, but finds she can't pluck up the courage to do so.

Why Did You Do It, Penelope? (Sly Cooper) - Complete, and I kind of hate it. I'm working on a rewrite which will be in line with the Amnesiac Saga. Once that's released, this version is going. If you liked it (right...), read it while you can.

Why Is This So Expensive? (Ratchet & Clank) - Complete.

The Wandering Turtle (Sly Cooper) - Little Bentley is incredibly nearsighted, and this time, it's going to put him in a lot of trouble. When he wanders away from his siblings, what is a visually impaired turtle supposed to do?

Why'd You Do It, Penelope? (Sly Cooper) - Eleven months after Sly's disappearance, the remaining Cooper Gang members receive a surprise visitor. Little does she know, she's caused a lot of damage: she's stomped on her boyfriend's heart, partially blinded her best friend, caused one of her closest allies to be lost in time, and has made a little baby grow up without a father. Penelope decides that now is the time to try and make amends, but will Bentley, Murray, Dougie and Carmelita accept her reasons for betrayal? - this one will be a bit weird. It could technically be read as a one-shot but it's the fifth chronological installment of the Amnesiac Saga out of a planned six, maybe seven entries... that's right, I intend to write a lot surrounding the adventures of Sly, Bentley, Murray, and Dougie. Stay tuned!
