![]() Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter, and Rurouni Kenshin. Hello! Fancy meeting you here. Why do I write fanfiction? To put it in simple terms, I write to alleviate stress. That's what it boils down to. Why do I read fanfiction? For much the same reasons as why I write. I like to focus my energy on something that does not have to do with my higher education and reading is a wonderful outlet. What do I like? 1. Nontraditional couples. I am often disappointed when authors or series creators develop matches that are too safe, too easy, or expected. Relationships are often between two wildly different people that love each other enough to make compromises. I imagine a few people reading this may understand what I mean from experience. 2. Realistic time frames. I'm not a fan of characters jumping into bed and poppin' out tons of babies at 14. I think that teen pregnancy is an unhealthy concept being presented to young readers on this website regardless of circumstances in the fanfic. I instead enjoy when authors build relationships over long periods of time and develop their character interactions. What pairings do I like? These are my personal tastes, please don't fight me on them. They are also not in order of preference. Avatar - Last Airbender: Katara/Zuko Avatar - Legend of Korra: Korra/Bolin Harry Potter: Hermione/George (post war), Hermione/Charlie (post war), Hermione/Draco (post war), and Neville/Luna. Rurouni Kenshin: Kenshin/Kaoru and Sano/Megumi What about reviews? My undergrad was humanities based and I learned how properly give formal and honest critiques. However, many people on the internet do not respond well to formal critiques, so I am very hesitant to give them. If you are interested in a formal critique, I will work with you in a private message format, just send me a note. (I may take a bit to respond.) I might turn down your request if I am not familiar with the characters, simply because that would not be a fair evaluation. Other than that, I might leave you little love-notes!
