Author has written 6 stories for Harry Potter, and Castle. If you want to take up my stories (only applicable to shadows and Locked Up): 1. you must credit me on your fic. 2. Send me a PM with the general plot line. 3. Write your own first chapter (It can tell the same thing but your own way). 4. You cannot change pairing (Harry/Daphne). Have fun 100th Review Rant Fanfiction says I created this profile on July, 12, 2012. Almost eight years ago. I had another pen name by then and wrote on different fandoms. I won't tell you my former name but, if you must know, I started writing Winx Club fanfics, it was what I liked at that time. I thought I knew how to write. I didn't have a clue, I still don't most of the time but learning is fun. I have to thank my beta Chrissiemusa for being so patient with me and teaching me so much. Go check Chrissiemusa fics if you are into Winx Club. I don't remember the name of the user who posted the first review to my first story but I do remember it had about twelve reviews. I used to look at other stories with 100 or more review and think that I would get there. I didn't get 100 reviews with a Winx Club fic... After two fics I jumped the the Huntik fandom. I only wrote one story. The main character there was, I believe the seed of the different versions of Harry Potter you see today on my fics (and will also be the start of the main character of my novel if I ever finish it). That story had about as much success as the Winx Club ones had if not less. Finally I arrived in the Harry Potter fandom. I don't remember how I got here; I'm not one of those authors who don't like this or that particular Harry Potter book. I just wanted to read some interesting stories. After a few months, could be a year, I decided to wrote my own Harry/Ginny fanfic. It doesn't exist anymore. I was more or less successful. I think it almost got 100 follows but there were no more than forty-something reviews. I gave up on it for several reasons, but most of all because it became boring to write it. It was a very slow burn romance that required characters to take one step ahead and two steps back (I think I got that wrong didn't I?). After a while I got tired of conventional Harry/Ginny fics and started reading AUs. It became my favourite genre...ah, the possibilities... From there I started reading other pairs and even wrote one fic with one of those. It was the most successful to that point in time, but life got in the way and after a hiatus I abandoned it and, in the end, deleted it. At last I started reading Harry/Daphne fics and after a few weeks I wanted to write my own. That is how Blank Page was born. The only regret I have with this fic is the title. Although it serves a purpose. So thanks to Chrissiemusa for helping out at the start. I would thank the first user to review Blank Page, but it was a guest so I don't know who it was. The first REGISTERED user to review Blank Page was jh831 so thanks to you. The 100th review was posted by This guy doesnt have a clue, I would like to thank you for that. And of course to all the favourites, follows, reviews communities PMs and readers that are enjoying Blank Page thank you very much! My next goal is 1k reviews, so see you then. Upcoming: The cursed. A Harry/Daphne story. Having the three Deathly Hallows didn't turn you into The Master of Death... It was the other way arround. Here is the link to my Fictionpress account: https://www.fictionpress.info/~jjmathews Right now I only hava a flash fiction story in this account (in two languages English and Spanish) called Chip Error. I came up with this idea after a conversation with a friend whose computer had failed while he uploaded a video to his Youtube channel. (if you want to check it out the name of the channel is Un Lugar Al Que Regresar.) Chip Error synopsis: Experts claim that in a few years people will be able to have chips implanted in their brains that could improve their memory, and even their intelligence. Should we trust such a complex and fragile organ we know so little about to technology? What happens if the chip fails? |
