Hey! I'm Rayne and I'm just an average twenty something trying to get her way through this funny thing called life. I love to read when I have the time and enjoy writing even more. I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter (obsessed might be a better way to describe my love for this series) and Doctor Who (Definitely obsessed. Thank you, David Tennant. ;P), but I'll probably occasionally be compelled to write something else every once in a while. And now, more recently, I'm finding myself thouroughly enjoying Sherlock fics, as well... We'll see what happens. :)

I'd like to think of myself as an honorary Slytherin, even though I never actually recieved my letter when I was 11... Clearly Albus got my address wrong. I'm waiting for the Doctor to pick me up. Any Doctor. While I'd be extremely happy if it was ten, I'd be happy with any Doctor. Or, if the Doctor couldn't make it, Sherlock would suffice. Or Dean, for that matter.

1/19/12 My profile is very... bland. So my best friend, Mitch, suggested I post a few things about myself. He's here helping me out, of course. So here are a few things about myself.

1. I'm officailly a college drop out! :(

2. I have my mother to thank for my obsession with Harry Potter. She used to read the first and second books to me, chapter by chapter, instead of bedtime stories.

3. I started writing when I was 11.

4. My obsession with Doctor Who is thanks to Mitch and David Tennant. That man is the most beautiful human being I have ever laid eyes on.

5. Yes, my name is actually Rayne. I get that question all the time. My siblings have equally unique names. My parents wanted to make up for the fact that they had very common names.

6. My favorite color is red, my favorite food is chocolate, and my favorite animal is the wolf.

7. I was the geek of all geeks in high school. I was the drum major of the marching band my junor and senior year.

8. I'm still a geek.

9. Now I live with some friends of mine back in my hometown. Four people crammed in an itty bitty apartment. Not just four people; me and three guys! Yay! :P

10. Back home, I have a dog named Sasha, three cats named Doctor, Master, and TARDIS (caps and all. He actually comes when we call his name. He'll do it occasionally when the family is watching Doctor Who. The Doctor will say TARDIS and that fat, black cat comes loping into the room.), nine fish named Rose, Martha, Donna, Jack, Amy, Rory, Hermione, Harry, and Ron, a lizard named Godzilla, and two snakes. One is Snape and the other is Malfoy. Believe it or not, the only pets I named were the lizard and the dog.

11. I have two siblings. (I guess this could have been number 6.) A younger brother and an even younger sister. I hated being the oldest.

12. I learned what love was for the first time when my mother set me in front of a piano at age six. I truly fell in love for the first time when my father placed a saxophone in my arms at age 12. I have since dedicated my life to music.

13. I am an author who is in the process of writing a few books with the hopes of being published. While this is a really fun passtime, writing is a serious deal to me. Keep your eyes peeled in the bookstores; one day, you might see my books on the shelves! Rayne C.B. on the cover!
