Author has written 14 stories for Sherlock. I'm now over at AO3, where I can write smut to my pervy heart's delight. I have the same fics here and there, but the more edited (slightly better?) versions are over there. Same username. Hi, I’m hifunctioning (no, really, I am, my therapist says so). I have always tended to be a bit obsessive with things I like, but I have NEVER been as obsessed with any fictional character as I am with BBC Sherlock and John. Fortunately, I see I am not alone. So I wrote all these fics about them. All the fics can stand alone, but some of them follow others or contain minor references to others, so in case anyone is curious I decided to write up a sort of index. Cuz I'm ocd like that! And there’s a code! * = Slash or not, your call. These fics are intentionally ambiguous, so they can be non-slash platonic bromance, or slashy (or pre-slashy, depending on the chronology) romance, depending on your preference. Me? Sometimes I'm agnostic on the subject. Sometimes I think Sherlock and John should totally just be platonic bros. Sometimes I think they should fuck like dogs in heat. So I like to keep the options open. @ = Definitely slash. Which means smut. Nothing = Not slash. But you can always squint. Pre-Reichenbach –no chronological order: When Harry Met Sherlock – Sherlock has dinner with John and Harry and discovers that BAMF!ness runs in the family. The Dying Detective – My attempt at the original SH story "The Dying Detective," told across 7 days with many text messages. Also “The Case of the Gloria Scott” in the background. (I later published this on AO3 as "Have You Ever Had Dengue Fever, John?" just because I noticed there were already several fics called "The Dying Detective.") Let Me Read You – A heatwave brings bromantic bonding between BAMF!John and Asexual!Sherlock. Some backstory brought up here is referenced in other fics. Post-Reichenbach – All in chronological order: * One Way Out – Sherlock returns, John nurses him back to health, they go on the run from Sebastian Moran, some inspiration from “The Empty House” at the end. References some backstory from “Let Me Read You.” (I later published this on AO3 as 2 fics; Chap 1 is "One Way Out" and Chaps 2-13 are "Three Stories to an Empty House.") * Reassembly Required – Sherlock and John go home to Baker Street and try to reassemble their lives together, while solving a double murder based on “The Adventure of the Cardboard Box.” @ Form and Function – John is still injured; Sherlock is bored, irritated, and frustrated, and decides to take it out on John. By the time he realizes he's in over his head, it's too late. Sexy times, romantic feels, and angst ensue. @ In The Days That Followed - Sequel to Form and Function. John thinks nothing much will change after they've had sex. Sherlock is skeptical. But his ignorance on the subject is intolerable; of course he can't leave well enough alone. More sexy times and feels! * Obvious Facts – John is still injured but improving, Sherlock is dying for a case, Lestrade gives him one (based on “The Boscombe Valley Mystery”) but it doesn't quite work out. Meanwhile the boys continue to grapple with some Reichenfeels and other angsts. References some backstory from “Let Me Read You.” @ A Rough Estimate – Of course Sherlock is jealous and possessive, but this John ain’t having it. Angst, romantic feels and sexy times ensue. @ Happiness is a Warm Gun – Sherlock has a gun kink. John has a gun. ‘Nuff said. Sexy times but (shockingly for me) no angst to speak of. @ Hard Evidence - Sherlock's been back for some time, but John still has residual separation anxiety, which rears its ugly head when he goes out of town for a few days. The cure: sexting, masturbation, fucking, and feels. @ Hide and Go Seek - John has discovered a new game to distract Sherlock from his boredom. Exactly what it says on the tin. Sexy times, but (shockingly for me) not explicit, and no angst either, whoa. Pre-Reichenbach Johnlock (these have no connection to any of the above stories): @ There Are Unexplored Possibilities About You – John struggles with his sexuality and Sherlock discovers he is a total sub. Sexy times, romantic feels, angst, BDSM lite. @ What To Do When It Will Never Be Enough – Sequel to “Unexplored Possibilities.” Sub!Sherlock and Dom!John try to solve both the puzzle of their relationship and a case based on “The Adventure of the Golden Pince-Nez.” Sexy times, romantic feels, more angst, and more serious BDSM (incl. breathplay, bloodplay). |
