Formally Known as KatieTheDaughterOfPoseidon Name: Katie Age: 16 Licensed Status: Currently permitted Home: Massachusetts, USA Job: Ice Cream Scooper/Cashier and Filer/Purge-r (PS: Don't even bother asking what that means . . .) Song of the Day: Last Night, The Vamps Status Update: So Friendzoned is stuck in what I call "The Drafting Process" meaning that I don't know what is sort of going to happen in every chapter. And as of right now, my second drafting story idea is farther along than Friendzoned, even though it doesn't have a name. So that one is probably coming first. 2 Weeks at Florida Sings . . . maybe it just got a name? Sometimes people think I die because I drop off the face of the earth when it comes to FanFiction . . . so sorry. I also have an obsession with Ross Lynch, but at least I admit to it, right? Questions Frequently Asked: What inspires you to write? Everything. I use whatever situation I'm in and whatever emotions I'm feeling and let my imagination run wild. How did I start writing? I've kind of been writing my whole life, but I started posting on FanFiction a few months after I found out about it. What's my favorite thing about writing? Having one less crazy idea floating in my head. Tips for writing? The best I can say, is to do the best you can. If you're writing is really forced and you have a hard time flowing, stop. The writing is not going to be good, so there is no use in continuing. Wait until you have more inspiration. Other than that, proofread to the best of your ability. My last tip, is to write something you want to read. If you're dying to read it, your imagination starts running and you try and predict the outcome, so write them down. Along with that, try to write a story you've never read before, otherwise it might turn out un-creative and therefore, not as good as your writing could essentially be. What's the hardest part to write in your works? For anything that's multi-chapter, the hardest part is making it all flow together while sticking to the main idea. For One-Shots, the hardest part is having a good ending, because when it doesn't come to me right away, it takes forever to get something I like. What are my favorite books? I love The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen, and some of her other books such as This Lullaby, Along for the Ride, and Someone Like You. If I could have dinner with someone, dead or alive, who it be, and why? Ross Lynch. Because he's wicked hot (excuse my Boston-ness) and I admire him as a singer. What do you want to be when you grow up? I would love to be a singer out in California. I could also see myself doing something kind of like directing. I think I'd be really good at turning books into movies, because I would like stalk the fandom and find out what's important, plus I read really fast, and I would be able to figure out a way to give the fans everything they want. I always say "If you're going to make a movie out of a book, you better please the fans that already there." What's my favorite Christmas memory? On Christmas Eve, we leave the lights on all day and night until we go to bed Christmas night. Any loves other then writing? Well, I don't really love writing, we have more hate in our love/hate relationship, but yes. I love singing and anything involving music. Do you play any instruments? Piano. And I got a guitar for Christmas so I'm learning that. I also took flute for about a month. Obviously that one really stuck. What style would you love to rock? I love leather. So like, colorful shirt, skinny jeans, white/black leather jacket, and some studded army boots. Favorite color? Currently it's bright orange, although it's constantly changing. I really like most of them. First song ever sung? If I remember that, damn would I have good memory. I barely remember all the songs I've sung today. Wait. Never mind. I don't even know that. Favorite food? I don't really have one. I'm not picky. Although I love mashed potatoes. And tacos. And pizza. I just like food. Celebrity crush? Ross Lynch. How do you come up with your titles? I have no idea. They just come up with themselves. My advice is take what ever the main idea of your story is or the main thing happening to your protagonist, and make it appeal to the sense. (Which is a fancy way for sound good) If it's right, you'll know it. Do you write about experiences you had? Can't Take It One More Day . . . and otherwise, maybe small pieces here and there, but usually no. I often write about ideas you could relate to. Favorite singers? For just their voices, Ross Lynch, P!nk, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, and Ariana Grande. Although there are many others and they change often. What boys do you go for? To put it in short, blonde hair, tall, muscular, okay with getting a little . . . dirty . . . in bed, nice, funny, badass with a gentleman side, and so much more.
