I'm Emily-Rose. I'm in college. :) I love TV shows and fanfiction, obviously. It's nice to combine those loves here. One Tree Hill is my favorite show and drama. I've learned so much from it. I love to write. I'm a review junkie, FYI. Hint, hint. Wink, wink. I've only written fics for OTH because it's more profound than words could ever describe.

Brucas vs. Brulian:

I cannot tell you how many times I've read comments from Leyton fans telling us to get over our obsession with Brucas because Brulian was meant to be. Of course, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I do actually enjoy Brulian as a couple, but the idea that they were meant to be is ridiculous. Fans of Leyton had six years of development into that relationship, six years dedicated to their ship, while we're expected to believe that Brulian was epic after just one—right away in season six. I'm sorry I just don't feel that. They were cute and conventional and had potential, sure. But I will never feel the same way about them that I do Brucas. To me, Brucas was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It was two people that struggled immensely but understood that they loved each other all the same. I still don't accept the Brulian ending because no closure was ever given to Brucas. People can argue that with me, but I feel that there was never a point in the show that I fell out of love with this couple and because of that I will always feel that there is unfinished business between them.
