Author has written 22 stories for Sailor Moon, and Scooby Doo. A couple things about me: Name: Alicia/Ali Hi, I'm Ali. :) I'm a college student in the lovely state of Alabama, where I've lived all my life (and yes, it is quite a lovely state). I've been writing since I was in the 7th grade... around age 13. Even though at this point I'm rusty in that I haven't written much in the past 3 years (college has taken over my life, lol) I do still enjoy it and have been having a lot of fun getting back into it and practicing with new ideas and techniques. I adore Sailor Moon, and I have for so, so many years now. Since I was about 12 years old. I lost track of my love for the series for a few years while I was starting college... I guess because Grey's Anatomy took over my life (Grey's Anatomy seriously owns my soul. Seriously.), but Sailor Moon will always hold a very special place for me as one of my most favorite series of all time! Plus I think it's the only anime/show/series that I believe I could ever really transport myself into enough to say that I could rewrite my own endings and stories for it... and I'm not really sure why. Maybe that's just the amazingly special thing about Sailor Moon? Yeah, maybe that's it. :) Characters I frequently write about or plan to write about: Chiba Mamoru/Tuxedo Kamen/Prince Endymion: Mamoru is one of the most under-developed characters in Sailor Moon in my opinion, mostly in the anime. To be so important to the storyline in the beginning, he's not really given much consideration later on and his character fades into the background like he's just there to be Usagi's boyfriend and support system, like he has nothing for himself except his future wife and child always fighting over him. And he's not perfect, and I really want to show that he's not this wooden boyfriend-character and he has his own thoughts and feelings, and his entire being doesn't focus around Usagi/Serenity. I think that's part of the reason why I'm so interested in bringing another love interest into Mamoru's world. (see Destiny Decision, or the older story You've Always Deserved My Love) It doesn't mean I want Usagi and Mamoru broken up, becuase I most certainly don't. I love Usagi and Mamoru. I love how different they are and how they still fit even though they're exact opposites. But I do like the idea of giving Mamoru more of a story of his own instead of his story being Usagi's story. We are not who we love, no matter how much we love them. Tsukino Usagi/Sailor Moon/Princess Serenity: Usagi is one of the most fun characters to write. Not just because she's actually a fun person, but because she has such a catching personality that she can change in one way, but still, she's so completely Usagi that no one would doubt for a moment: yes, that's Usagi! She can be afraid and weak one moment, but if you take something important from her, she becomes a fearsome opponent who doesn't know the meaning of "backing down." And also you can bear in mind that although most people will pick out other senshi to be their favorites in Sailor Moon (how many of us say it's Minako, Ami, Rei, or Makoto, yet we still write most about Usagi? Myself included.), Usagi is ultimately most people's choice. It's just because she brings the most story with her. She's what makes it all happen to begin with. Aino Minako/Sailor Venus: Minako is my favorite senshi. I love Sailor Venus; I think she's awesome. I don't really have many ideas ever filling my head, though, for her. I wrote one story (Dreaming of Dreams) surrounding the idea of her and Motoki once, and I really enjoyed it. It was a long time ago and if I went back now and looked at it, I'm sure I would cringe at the lacking plot line, but at the time it was a lot of fun. Plus, I'm not sure now if I would even agree now with a Motoki and Minako pairing. I will have to give Minako some more thought, though. Kino Makoto/Sailor Jupiter: Mako-chan is so much fun!! She's tough, compassionate, feminine, brave, and determined. Her love life is confusing, as it seems she's always stuck wondering about the sempai that broke her heart, and she has this fear that she's not feminine enough, that she's too tall and strong and it makes her less loveable. I did the crazy thing of matching her up with Mamoru once (that was fun! I did it for the challenge.). But I would really like to take her past the sempai and give her a more meaningful look at love, since sometimes, it seems she's stuck where she is. I would really love to focus on the PGSM pairing of Motoki and Makoto. Motoki's a little out there in PGSM (just think: turtles) but they're really cute and it would be fun to see about incorporating their PGSM personalities into a story (which are a little different... Makoto not so much but Motoki, oh my goodness yes!). Current/Future Projects: Unforgettable Moments: 100 UsaxMamo Drabbles: Yes, I am writing drabbles. I've always adored them, and I keep finding that I always have ideas for them. I just never started my own! But now I am... I hope these drabbles concentrate more on the relationship between Mamoru and Usagi after they are together, though I can't promise that there won't be some that are in the first stages of their relationship. These might be slow for a while as I am putting more focus on The Destiny Saga. Rabbits Through the Ages: This story has become really popular, and I'm excited. It's fun and it's like one of my favorite subjects to ponder on when concerning Sailor Moon. I've put the Destiny Saga on hold to work on this story because I love, love, love it. I'm having so much fun and I hope everyone's following it okay and enjoying it. It's going to get pretty twisted, so keep up!! The Destiny Saga: The continuing story of Destiny Decision. My plan for the four following stories is that they will be sister stories. When you read one of them, you get the full story on that particular senshi, but mentions of the other senshi will be made where you need to see their personal stories for the explanation. You will be able to read any of these stories as stand alone stories. Destiny Reflection will require that you read Destiny Decision first though. Otherwise, the other stores are complete stand alones. Destiny Bloom (In Progress): This is Rei's story. I am trying to write this in a way that it won't be necessary for you to read Destiny Decision to understand this tale. Destiny Reflection (In Progress): This is Ami's story. Ami played a crucial, major role in Destiny Decision, so I'm afraid that you have to read Destiny Decision to understand this story. I will explain as much as I can, but really, you wouldn't want to read this without reading the first one. Destiny Enlightened (Not Yet Begun): This will be Minako's story. Like Rei's story, I plan on writing this in a way that it will not be necessary to read Destiny Decision. Destiny Whisper (Not Yet Begun): This will be Mako-chan's story. I plan to write her story in the same way that I write Rei and Minako's stories. They will be stand alone stories that can be read without reading Destiny Decision. Newer, Completed Stories: Destiny Decision: This EPIC story is FINALLY finished! It's taken me a long time, because it was so intricate and I really wanted to make it a fantastic story, but it is now 100 complete! Finished! Woo! I really hope you all enjoy it, and if anyone would like to volunteer to help me edit it for any mistakes I may have missed, please let me know!! I have started to work on the sequels. All 5 of these stories will encompass the entire Destiny Saga! See above for descriptions. Is It Wrong To Thank The Youma?: It's now complete! I have received some very encouraging reviews for it, and I'm really glad everyone has enjoyed it so much!! It was a lot of fun to write... though it pained me to my very soul to put Mamoru in pain; he is my favorite, after all... :( Questions: Written in 2009. This story was my return to Sailor Moon fanfiction (in 3 years). It's a short-ish one-shot piece, and I am contemplating continuing the story with a sequel. I think the idea of continuing what happens after Sailor Stars is promising. The Thing I Hate: This is a cute one-shot that I wrote on a whim. It's an add-on to the story Questions, but you don't have to read Questions to understand it at all. In fact, you don't have to read them in any particular order. This just refers to something Setsuna brings up in the other story. It was fun to write a short about a senshi I've never concentrated on before. OLD stories: These stories will NOT be updated or re-written. I enjoyed writing them, but I was much younger when I did, so I know there are many errors (and quite honestly, a lot of bad writing.) There are some good elements in the stories though, so please do read them! Just don't ask for sequels or for them to be re-written, because I don't ever plan to pick any of these up again, no matter how bad they are. lol. (btw, the descriptions below are unedited from years ago as well.) The Towel Rack: This is my oldest surviving story. I've redone it many times, and this is the final time I've edited and redone it. |
