An AU where instead of joining Halt for the Special Task Force, Will becomes the Ranger of Norgate. When it's revealed that inside information is being passed to Araluen's enemies, no one believed as to where it could lead. No one thought the problem could do as much damage it has done. Or that Will, now the Ranger of Norgate, would have to stop it.

I will be attempting to do the 100 themes challenge. Here I will hope to spread my horizons a little bit, write more of what I'm not used to. Probably will not be 100 chapters, maybe more, maybe less. Numbers will be known by a number generator, and this will be updated whenever I want.

Ever since returning from Nihon-Ja, Cassandra has been piled with tasks and responsibilities by her father to keep her busy. When she's given the task to mediate neogotations at Redmont, she grabs at the chance to snag an extra week or two to spend with her girlfriend, Alyss. Her first night there, she and Alyss plan to have a double date with their close friends, Will and Horace.

Short-stories, brief drabbles, a few short ideas, and just . . . What Ifs. What if . . . Will died? What if . . . certain characters weren't as truthful as you were lead to believe? What if . . . some characters weren't as loyal as they were supposed to be? What if . . . those small inklings Flanagan left in the back of your mind were actually something so . . . so much bigger?

Certain scenes in Ranger's Apprentice seem to have so much potential, especially when you think about how ... heterosexual this series can be. Don't you think certain scenes would have been more interesting if given another point of view? Let's get queering the RA universe, one scene at a time if necessary.

After attending George's birthday party, Will arrives back at Halt's cabin with some complicated feelings.

PREQUEL TO "IT'S THE UNEXPECTED THAT CHANGES LIVES." Before the Siege of Macindaw, Horace senses some mixed messages coming from Will. After the rush of the siege, Horace does something unexpected, throwing Will into a confusion that he doesn't know how to get out of.

Will is yanked out of his short break when he gets the news that Scribemaster Nigel has been murdered, and that his former wardmate George Carter is the prime suspect. Working together, Will and Alyss, and sometimes Halt, must work to clear George's name, but also find the murderer before it's too late.

While traveling south to Arrida, Will falls off the wolfship and swims to the nearest island. He finds that the island is occupied and seeks help from the people who live there. Instead of getting help, though, he finds himself thrown into a game of cat and mouse, and Will must survive three nights against a skilled hunter if he wants to see his family again.

(READ AFTER "TO SEE THE STARS." IF YOU HAVEN'T, YOU'LL BE VERY CONFUSED.) After Will wakes up from a nightmare, Horace talks to him until he's comfortable falling back asleep. Short TSTS sequel that takes place a few months after the main storyline.

Will Treaty, accused of three murders, is banished from Araluen. The evidence is there, but isn't enough to have him executed, and Will remembers nothing from the past six months. His family plans to continue investigating, but when Will confesses to the murders and leaves, they are unable to find him when they come across evidence that could prove his innocence.

When Will visits Castle Araluen, Horace drags Will to catch up with him and Cassandra. It doesn't go that well.

Thinking it wasn't a serious problem, Crowley sends Will off to investigate a forest that the local Ranger reported to be dangerous. Halt, sensing something about that forest was wrong, gives Will a blank journal to write down his experiences. Throughout the beginning of his journey, Will does just that ... up until he goes missing.

While on a mission with Horace, Will sustains an injury. Fearing the use of a healing salve with warmweed, the drug he was addicted to in Skandia, he hides the wound from Horace to avoid the drug.

A midnight murderer, assaulting men and women in attempts for gold, sex, and gore. Will and Alyss go undercover to catch the culprit, not realizing that the situation they were inserting themselves into was a lot more dangerous than expected. Rated M for: rape, gore, and (consensual) sexual content.

During a normal security meeting, someone Will recognizes bursts in the room with a knife, intent on taking out those in charge. Will blocks him, and tries to reason with him.

Will leaves the cabin during a meeting with other Craftmasters, and Alyss follows him outside out of concern.

While still confused on their relationship status, Horace comes to visit Will at Seacliff.

Araluen has been invaded by an enemy force, and instead of fleeing with everyone else, Will chooses to stay behind. Everyone believes him dead. Horace returns a few years later, and is surprisingly led to him when searching for the leader of the Resistance. Will agrees to help him reclaim the country, but it seems something he is hiding could be the key to defeating their enemy.

When Will does not return from the war along with everyone else, Alyss grieves the loss of her fiance until the day of his return.

A chapter per pairing, named after the song listened to while writing. What's wrong with being happy with the one you love? Canon and non-canon pairings, having a nice, needed break with the person(s) they love.

A collection of short-stories, filled with supernatural happenings in the Ranger's Apprentice world. Anything from ghost stories, to vampires (?), sprinkled with a good amount of desperation, horror, and fear.

When you have a courier as a wife, you worry about her making it home alright, and what she has to eat while away. When you have a cook as a wife, you have to listen to her critique everyone's food, as well as her own, and make sure she actually gets away from the kitchen every once and a while. A collection of four short stories, one chapter not related to the previous chapters.

Will notices that Alyss is acting mighty suspicious one day, and wonders what it is. It is only after they don't see each other for over 4 months due to overlapping missions that he realizes what his wife couldn't find the words to say.

Stuck at Castle Araluen by a blizzard while visiting, Will and Halt decide to catch up with a few friends. With Halt, that meant Duncan and Crowley. For Will, that meant Horace, the two greatly missing each other's company with their recent separation. One day Will sees something out a window that distances him from Horace, and his partner is determined to discover what he saw.

When Will gets asked to investigate a series of murders in the neighboring fief of Sandorne, he hardly expects the chaos he will find. Disappearing bodies, drunk officials, and curious little girls are only a small part of it, and the weave of a rope happens to be more important then previously believed.

Will and Horace are locked up in a dungeon, not knowing where anyone else is. In all the stress a situation like this can beget, can the two of them really keep their relationship a secret AND survive?

Will and Horace are sent to investigate an abandoned mansion not far from Castle Araluen, infamous for the fact that thousands of children have disappeared within. Upon hearing the mansion's past, Will is skeptical, and Horace is outright terrified of their task. A one-shot I will not be continuing. (Some Will/Horace included)

Robin Hood AU, where Will Treaty leads a small thieving group called the Merry Men, and he's known throughout Araluen as the one and only Robin Hood.

Ameila Talper, first Lady-in-Waiting to Adalaine Verline, daughter to the Baron of Caraway fief, has been found dead, and Will and Halt are sent to investigate. One problem: Decades before, after Halt and Crowley had reestablished the Ranger Corps, they investigated the murder of the same victim. The fact that her body was there and intact was simply not possible. Yet there it lay.
