Author has written 22 stories for Sherlock. Well for a start my name isn't Kate and unfortunately I don't live at 221B Baker Street. Kate is the name of my main character, and the one I enjoy writing about the most, so I decided to borrow her name for a pen name. Just to be clear I'm certainly not writing about myself, (just in case anyone was worried0, Kate is far more empathic, brave and broken that I am, but I created her as the perfect partner for Sherlock, which I like to think that she pretty much is, in my head anyway. All of my writing on here has been related to Sherlock so far, although I do also write other things. I'm particularly interested in the psychology of Sherlock; what makes him the way that he is, and the whole is he a sociopath, does he have Aspergers, is he bipolar debate. I'm generally fascinated by what makes people tick, and Sherlock is much more interesting than most because he's such a complex character. I do take anything that people put in reviews very seriously, and try to review if I can, because I know that it makes such a difference to my own impetus to write. However, I'm great believer in 'If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all,' so if you have constructive criticism for me then please don't hold back, but if you just want to tell me that you don't like my story and I can't write for toffee (which people have in the past) then I'd rather not know, thanks. It just bothers me and makes me want to stop writing. A 'shit sandwich' of good thing, bad thing, good thing is however absolutely welcomed! The most I could ever hope for is that people enjoy reading my stories as much as I enjoy writing them, and that maybe, just maybe it might make you stop and look at things in a different way. Please do let me know what you think. Its been pointed out to me that I have quite a few stories on here now and it can be difficult to know where to start, so here’s a bit of a guide. Some stories fit into more than one category so I’ve included them in both. BBC Canon based stories The Diogenes Club - set post Reichenbach Fratros, Eros and Agape - the events of HLV from Johns perspective Conversations and Conspiracies - side- stories to Fratros Explanations - a 51 exploring how things might have panned out after the plane scene in The Abdominable Bride Studies in Serotonin - an exploration of Sherlock’s drug use Point to where it hurts an incomplete Sherlock and John case story in which John runs into an old army comrade The League of Vampires - written for a competiton. Sherlock and John investigate a strange case in Prague. Studies in Restraint - Sherlock, John, duck tape. Need I say more? Kate and Sherlock stories Probably not for Johnlock fans, but if Sherlock was ever going to have a girlfriend, Kate has to be the one for him. in suggested reading order: The Girl in the Scarf Sentiment Consequences That Woman Danger Nights Christougeniatiko dentrophobia Sherlock and mental health The Box Danger Nights Madness and Memory Redemption Teenage Sherlock The Box Christmas Lights The Ghosts they Make Us Dependence (unfinished) Other Corpses and Clues |
