Hello,

I'm Sctibbles-by-Kate, or Kate. I've been reading fan fiction for years, mainly Harry Potter, Glee, and Jane Austen/other nineteenth-century stuff, but haven't gotten around to publishing anything, until now.

That's because I've been inspired by my new obsession, ABC's Once Upon a Time, which I love. I'm particularly a fan of Rumple and Belle, or RumBelle. I've started several RumBelle stories, which are all in various stages of completion, and I'll publish the ones I'm most happy with here.

I will never publish anything that's not completed, or almost completed, because there's nothing worse than reading a story that you like and the author never finishes it. I also find that a story needs to be finished or almost finished for me to know that it really works as a story. Sometimes I end up going back and making big changes, and it's not fair to do that to readers when I'm publishing, and sometimes I sit on things for ages before I go back and edit, so there will generally be a writing period followed by a publishing period, and sometimes long gaps when I'm working on something new.

Updates when I'm in my publishing phase will be once a week, probably Sundays, but I'll let readers know if that changes.

I've been quite inspired by some of the stories I've read here, so I look forward to sharing mine with you. Of course, constructive comments are always welcome, but only comment if you want to :)
