Hey, Pretty Shining People!

I've been hanging around here for more than six years and I've loved it! I've met some pretty amazing people (Shoutout to SereneCalamity - love you!) and I've read hundreds of amazing stories. If you can't guess, I love reading and talking to people who love it as much as I do!

I'm currently in love with Tom Holland (he's just too pure for this world), Chris Hemsworth and his family (have you watched his holiday videos?), the Greatest Showman (movie and soundtrack), Cole Sprouse (sigh) and KJ Apa's accent (bigger sigh)! I love all things vintage (the outfits, the cars, the music!!) and I love photography (I'm an amateur, but I don't let that stop me).

I don't know if I can pick a favourite book of all time because there's too many! The Storyteller by Jodi Piccoult is definitely in the top 'however-many' as well as the Covenant Series (Aiden St Delphi is bae), The Mortal Instruments, The Infernal Devices, the Legacy series and so many more.

Music-wise, again I can't pick a favourite. Currently, if you didn't pick it up from my opening phrase, I'm sort of in love with George Ezra - he is adorable. Pretty Shining People is such an amazing song, and always puts me in a good mood. My taste is pretty varied - I love "old" music eg stuff from the 50, 60s, 70s and 80s. I think my favourite song is Throw Your Arms Around Me by Hunters & Collecters, closely followed by Solid Rock by Goanna. I love belting out the lyrics to Cher - she's pretty amazing. I adore Ed Sheeran - what an amazing voice, and stage presence, and his songs are real acoustic-y...oh man I could go on forever. I like music that they play at nightclubs because I love to dance! Oh, and Jet is always a classic and something I can always listen to. I also have the Greatest Showman soundtrack on repeat, constantly!

I don't really know if I have a favourite movie to be honest. Some favourites are Troy, A Knight's Tale, The Longest Ride, Baby Driver, The Greatest Showman and anything Disney. Oh, I also love Marvel movies (can't even pick a favourite!).

Favourite TV show would be Brooklyn Nine-Nine (if you haven't watched it, you're doing something wrong) with some others being Laverne and Shirley and the Golden Girls (oldies, but goodies).

I have too many favourite characters (from both books and movies) but worth mentioning are Aiden and Deacon St Delphi (Covenant Series), Sophia Petrillo (Golden Girls), Laverne DeFazio (Laverne and Shirley), Luke Collins (Longest Ride), Jughead and FP Jones (Riverdale), Jake Peralta and Rosa Diaz (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), Thor and Loki (Avengers), Willl and Jace Herondale (Mortal Instruments/Infernal Devices) and way too many more.
