I'm Nikki. I'm a 21 year old girl, from the oh so sunny county of Yorkshire. I work in admin. I'm also a recently graduated Creative Writing and English Literature student, which I guess means I should be able to write well, but my dislike of proofreading things means that I often make crappy mistakes. Also, I like writing, but I don't want to be a writer. I can't deal with research or staring at a screen for hours, trying to find the perfect word. So yeah, I guess I'm a lazy writer. All I want to do is put my thoughts and ideas onto page, and often that results in a rushed mess. So yeah, you've been warned.

Okay, so everything is on hiatus at the moment. But that's because I'm currently working on a new story - I know, I really should get round to finished one of my stories before I start another one. But this one has been bugging me for months, and I can't seem to write anything else until I get all my ideas out. So I will start writing chapters for Pillars of Sand soon, but only after I empty my head of this other story.
