Author has written 4 stories for Twilight. - Photo taken by Samantha M. Quinn About Me: I have been writing fan fiction for over a decade, although I have never published anything outside of this site. When I first started I came up with several stories, started them all and got a decent way into each before abandoning them (I only managed to complete one). I got into a vicious cycle where I would grow tired of a project and move on. At one point I had six incomplete stories. I found that I had lost my passion for writing, and stopped for a long time. Then a few years ago I started my first original novel (well the first that I had made any real progress on), and actually finished my rough draft. The project changed me in a number of ways. Primarily my writing speed increased dramatically, and I found that my passion for writing had returned. While that project stalled during the first major editing pass, I knew I wanted to keep writing, so I fell back on my old fan fiction stories. I dragged them out of dusty folders on a thumb drive I almost lost, and started to look at what I wanted to do. Of all the stories I had started, The Crash had the most potential and the least need for major editing. Or at least that is what I thought. Starting on that edit I found that things were a bit of a mess, and required some major edits and some complete re-writes of entire chapters. What started as a simple diversion project, turned into a major re-write (the irony is not lost on me). I will continue to produce Fan Fiction for the foreseeable future and I look forward to sharing my stories with you, and hope that you check out all my work. Updates: I'm going on a short hiatus while I catch up with my projects and figure out how to write the next section of The Crash. I'm at an odd point in the narrative, and while I have a good idea what is coming I can't quite find an entry point for the next chapter. I will do what I can to break through this as soon as possible, but I am removing all my planned releases for the time being. The Crash Parts One & Two Inspired by a 'What If' idea involving the car crash in which Edward saves Bella, that takes place about fifty pages into Twilight. The change is early enough in the story to cause major ripples in the canon timeline. The two major consequences are somewhat obvious; The Quileute wolves play a different role in the story, and Reneesme is never born. The rest of the changes are plot related and so... please read to find out more. The story uses five main points of view; Bella, Alice, Edward and Angela and an original character Mason. Table of Contents: Part One: Family Prelude: Ultimatum Part Two: Cry Havoc, and Let Slip the Dogs of War! Prelude: Head and Heart Scattered Ashes My most unabashedly romantic story focusing on a role swap with Alice as the human protagonist. Bella (Vampire) and Alice (Human) are the main romantic pairing. As with almost all my stories, this one deals with loss but also deals with romance and hope. There are some changes to canon to adapt the story with Bella as the main vampire of the story. The Cullen's are also somewhat different, mainly with Rosalie. I'll let those changes reveal themselves organically in the story. This is a deeper and more emotional a story than The Crash, but not quite as sad as my other stories. It does also deal with mental illness to a degree, because Alice is still Alice. Table of Contents: Ch. 01: A New Home Shattered Twilight Dark, noir, mystery, serial killer, vampires. Kinda says it all right? Then you add Twilight, and... well no it doesn't work. I had to start this from the ground up, this isn't divergent, this is totally new. This is dark, occasionally brutally violent, and deeply emotional, it is after all a story about a serial killer. Bella will go through a lot in this, which is why she is so strong and aggressive. I will keep this updated with chapter progress. I haven't quite settled on relationships, but they do play a part in the story. The primary characters are Bella, Alice, Rosalie and Angela. It will have mostly F/F pairings. M for violence (including graphic descriptions of bloody corpses and crime scenes, sexual violence, and body horror), explicit language, sexual situations (not explicit, but mature), adult situations and a lot of it involving teenagers. Table of Contents: Ch. 01: Arrival Projects on the horizon: These are projects that I may work on at some point in the future, but are inactive at this time. Shadow Stained Mirror: Wildly AU and almost original in how massively different this one is. Bella and Rosalie are the main characters, but are not necessarily a romantic pair. This story is complex and if you are looking for a version of Bella that is the opposite of her canon self, this might be for you. There are two main points of view, Isabella and Rosalie, and the story is told in chronological order for each character, but they start at different points in time. The main reason for the Rosalie chapters is to explore the massive changes to the Cullen's in this story. The Crash: Book Two (Placeholder title) - No I haven't lost my mind. This is a way off possible sequel to The Crash which features the surviving characters in a futuristic setting. This will be Science Fiction and will not follow any book plot whatsoever. If/when this becomes a reality I'll update this more with details. For now, I thought I would put it out there as a possibility. For anyone who may recognize my name as the Co-Author of Kathryn518's opus, we are working on a total revision of the story. Progress is slow, but we have already added roughly 17,000 words to the first eight chapters. Every chapter will undergo some editing and then the story will be completed. There is no current time-frame for release on this edit. Expect new content, alterations to chapter order and story progression and some minor changes to characterization.
