![]() Author has written 14 stories for Glee. Hmm ... ok. Well, I'm a middle school English teacher in Louisiana. But, I was born and raised in Kentucky, then went to college for four years at the University of South Carolina, where I got my B.A. in journalism. I kinda hated reporting, but I love love love to write. Then I lived in Germany for two years because my husband is in the Air Force. And that brings me to the present. (You know, that whole middle school, Louisiana thing I just mentioned ...) I absolutely adore Glee, as a lover of musicals and silly high school stories, but even more as a teacher. I just became a teacher in fall 2010, and through the whole first season of the show I hoped that I would be a teacher like Mr. Schue (minus his somewhat inappropriate moments, his behavior in Britney/Brittany was just wrong!). The first time I took a team of kids I coached to an academic/creativity/teamwork competition and stood on the sidelines jumping up and down and wringing my hands, I figured I was doing pretty well. I don't have any kids of my own, so I love my kids at school like crazy. I'm a total Finchel shipper, but there is something about Puckleberry that I love as well. As of right now I don't see myself writing anything other than Glee (although I love Friends, Gilmore Girls, and One Tree Hill like there's no tomorrow), and I won't be writing anything other than those two pairings. Also, though I know it's a bad idea to say 'never,' I don't think I will ever write anything AU. Now don't get me wrong, I will play with the characters, and write 'futurefic' stories that go in directions that aren't exactly where the show is headed, but I don't think I'll ever write anything that isn't true to what has already happened in the show. I don't have a problem with AU stories, I read several of them, but it's just not something I plan to write. So, enjoy, and always feel free to comment! My adorable new avatar is a gift from the darling SilverSnikle. Her interpretation of Miss Berry. Ok, so this is why I said it's a bad idea to say 'never.' I still don't consider this to be writing 'AU' because all the characters and backstories and everything are the same. But, as season 3 progresses, it's hard to write Puckleberry without, well, ignoring some things that are happening on the show. So, with that being said, some parts (the 'Broken' chapter of 'Shuffle') will be true still, but others may take some liberties with the Finchel-ness of season 3 (like the whole 'If at First You Don't Succeed' story).
