Author has written 24 stories for Harry Potter, and Last Exile. I'm twenty, I can still spell, I have ceased to write. I'm not sure why. It just doesn't seem all that important to me anymore. My stories may be grouped into two main threads, and generally stay on a theme I call Remus-and-Severus. Which isn't slash, isn't friendship, but isn't quite burning hatred either. With the exception of Before the Potions Practical, which is unique in that it's charmingly pointless fluff, all my stories follow the same timeline and sometimes refer to each other, although each may be read independently. Something Higher on the List, Welcome to the First Day of the Rest of Your Life, and In Their Proper Places form a sort of First Year Triptych of Remus' and Severus' almost-but-never-quite-friendship, with Midwinter as an epilogue. There's also a strand on Severus' Death Eater days: Walking the Tightrope, No More Children Like Us and A Pocket of Quiet, followed by Tide and ending with Twilight. (No More Children Like Us does not involve Remus Lupin because it was written post-HBP. Which was a book that completely broke my heart, because Remus had suddenly forgotten how to use speech contractions in places that needed them most.) The Last Exile fic is virtually exclusively about Vincent, Sophia and/or Alex, although there is not so much Alex because I don't really know how to write him without going off into deep dark angst. I like Vincent and Sophia better. Still no slash/yaoi/etcetera, unless you deliberately interpret the tension as such. I know how difficult it is to find halfway-decent general fic around here. It would be nice to have reviews, by the way. It's a little sad to have to depend on the hit counter to know that people actually read my stuff every now and then. |
