I found this website over Spring Break this year and I love it! My all time favorite tv show in the 1980s was Matt Houston and I decided over the break, I would watch the old tapes I had. Some have survived the years and I found it really relaxing. After reading the stories here by some really talented writers, I thought I would try it out. I always wanted, probably like many of you, for the two lead characters, Matt and C.J. to end up romantically involved. I think the writers probably didn't do it because it seems that when a series has that romantic tension between two characters the ratings go up as people watch and wait for it, but if they do get put together then the tension goes down and people lose interest. That's what I thought was their reason anyway. However, when they did end the show, I was really disappointed. I mean if the show wasn't coming back, why not give the loyal viewers what they wanted those three years.

Ok, so this is the first time I have ever written a piece of fiction, so please be kind, but please let me know if you have reviews. Thanks in advance and I hope you enjoy what I write!

UPDATE: First of all, thank you to everyone who wrote me and told me that Journals wasn't that bad. I deeply appreciate it. I decided to write another one, I don't think its as good as the first, but is essentially a sequel. I was thinking of bascially writing my own version of a season 4. UDATE 6/28: Ok, so I wrote another one. I hope people enjoy it, but this one is a little darker I think. Crossing Lines is about a new client C.J. takes as a lawyer and Chris ends up getting hurt as they investigate. It is rated M, so please keep that in mind as you read it. It has more action, fights, etc. so that makes it different too I think. Let me know what you think and please be kind.

UPDATE 12/27: Ok, so this one took much longer than I anticipated...my muse left me for a while. Anyway, I am hoping its not too complicated to keep up with and that all the reviewers out there will let me know what they think. I appreciate feedback greatly as I am still trying to get the hang of this. At the end I left the story with a little teaser as to what I think I have planned next.
