Author has written 145 stories for Matt Houston, Walker, Texas Ranger, M*A*S*H, General Hospital, Northern Exposure, Hunter, Halloween, Women's Murder Club, Star Wars, Planet of the Apes, Walking Dead, Good Wife, Scream, Paradise, Stand, Breakfast Club, Beverly Hills 90210, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Aliens/Predator, Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman, and Shadow of a Doubt. Hi, I am new to fan fiction writing but have enjoyed reading a lot of the stories here and have decided to try writing some of my own from different shows, some of which (alas) aren't listed here but I'm working on them anyway. I also had some ideas for a couple of movies like Thelma & Louise but admittedly, it's kind of hard to do a sequel to that film because the two main characters drove off into the Grand Canyon. When I was younger, I wrote stories based on Love Boat, Tales of a Golden Monkey, Planet of the Apes and Emergency which I crossed with Little House on the Prairie. I did do two Matt Houston fictions when that show was in its first round of syndication. One, as a birthday present to my college roommate who loved the show and the only requirement was that Kurt Smith from Tears For Fears (now I'm dating myself, lol) had to have a speaking part and I had to have at least one scene take place in the penthouse's hot tub. The second, was an alternate final episode because the original one sucked but was a fitting finale to a season that tanked about half way through due to some unfortunate plot changes. I've been doing some reading also and loved the Early Edition crossover with Charmed and Fantasy Island and the MASH fictions. And I've been working on a GH fanfiction told mostly from Kristina's perspective on having aged overnight from a sweet little girl who never caused problems to a rebellious teenager living in a strange berg called PC (which when you think about it, must feel strange at times with the assorted characters who hang out there). And I've always wanted to pit actress Nancy Lee Grahn's two benchmark female characters, Alexis and Julia Wainright Capwell (Santa Barbara) together in a courtroom. Update: I'm currently working on outlining the conclusions of several of my long-ongoing FF stories. I also dug up some 1980s Matt Houston ones from the "archives" in the garage that I had forgotten about, along with some efforts from other shows. One's currently being posted but I forgot to include page numbers and some pages were missing so it's taking a while to update. Another FF story was uncovered, a sequel to the revised version of "Fatal Vows", is currently being worked on and will be posted when completed. It's kind of a strange story but then the 1980s was that kind of decade. Also, the second season of Early Edition is out on DVD, Kyle Chandler's adorable, no show with a cat as its catalyst can be a bad thing, and maybe if I can find a way to cross it with Dollhouse, hmmm... Update (Sept. 16): I'm still working on the older fanfictions and hopefully will have at least two of them completed by early November and the third one done shortly after that. "Glimmer of Twilight"'s my favorite to write but it's the toughest so far for different reasons. I've got a bit of a work crunch coming in Oct/Nov. I'm still working on the MASH and GH fanfictions as well. I've put up the intro for a new cross-fiction between Matt Houston and Northern Exposure and trying to piece together older fanfictions, "Return to Bannon County" and "Chaos Theory". It's like an archaeological dig of sorts putting the pages together. Update (Nov. 5): It's been really busy for the past month so I'm still catching up on all of them. I did finally complete the last chapter of the fanfiction, "Mustang Madness"! I'm working on updating and finishing several others but this month might get busy too with the NANO writing competition. If you're interested in some Matt Houston FF, there's a good story at this site. At the end of the two chapters on the bottom of the page is a contact address and if you're eager for the final installment of that fan fiction, send that talented author an email! :) UPDATE (Nov. 15) If you're waiting for updates, it's going to be slow. In case you don't know, 's accounts database has wigged out again due to what's likely was a code upgrade on Friday before the weekend. So you can't log in or upload documents at times. Hopefully, when it's fixed, I'll be able to post updates to "Chaos Theory" and "Glimmer of Twilight" which believe it or not is finally in the home stretch. Sorry it's been so long with that FF. It's the toughest to write of all of them for different reasons. For readers of the non-Houston fanfics, I'll try to update them too. UPDATE (Dec. 16) It's been a month gone by quickly and I thought I'd have another FF story completed. My bad! I'm working on completing the "Circle of Women" cross-fiction and hopefully will get more Glimmer of Twilight done. I'm also working on a Xmas story because of the season, but it's shorter. The MASH and GH FF stories where I've been very delinquent will be updated as well. Thanks for your patience, and thanks for reading and the notification that the DVD of the TV show is coming out early next year. And have a happy holidays! UPDATE: (Jan. 2) Happy Holidays and egad, I've fallen so far behind on my FF goals. I apologize! I did write a completed Christmas story that takes place between "Glimmer of Twilight" and "Mustang Madness" and am beginning on updates for the other stories. Wait a minute! There's other fan fiction stories posted under the category so I can't write at the moment because I've got read! Thank you, Thank you, Thankyou! With that and news that another FF writer elsewhere is updating her FF after an absence including let's hope, her superb MH FF (the link is in an earlier update above), there's good reading. Also, the show's first season is projected to be out on DVD on March 9 or 10. With the death of creator, Aaron Spelling, his estate holders are probably reviewing most of his unreleased television shows for possible DVD release. Anyway, something to keep an eye on and any creative minds out there (including the wonderful FF writer, Traci) who have MH FF, think about posting it. For the MASH and GH readers, I'll be updating those FF stories as well. I have to be in the right mood for the GH story so am working on that! UPDATE: Feb. 1: One month's gone by! I'm trying to update my FFs especially the MH and related cross fictions. A couple of them are somewhat painful but fun reconstructions of older stories and others are laborous but really fun and very, very long new ones. I'm also working on some shorter FF stories that will be published around holidays and will include these holidays in their stories. I'm hoping to actually have the Valentines Day story for example actually on V-Day. LOL, I'll see how that works! As usual, thanks so much for reading, sorry for the updating delays and anyone who has any MH fan fictions in the works, please, please publish them because I love to read them as much as write them! And we're getting quite a collection already, in the double digits, which is cool considering the Season 1 DVD will be out next month. UPDATE: Feb. 22: I updated some of my FF stories and completed "Chaos Theory" finally. Trying to finish three others but some chapters still to write. Thanks for your patience in updating and in my propensity to write really, really, really long stories. I'm currently working on the St. Patties day FF story which might be another X-fiction story. Hopefully, I'll actually get it done by the holiday. Been busy lately so updates have been slower and in groups. Hope you enjoy reading them! UPDATE: March 9: Been pretty busy but just published updates for four fanfictions the same day that the DVD goes into release. Hope you enjoy them. UPDATE: March 12: Several FF stories have been updated including the concluding chapter of A Circle of Women but the FF site's alerts are all down until that system gets fixed. I'll be updating some more so just check the site to see if there's any updates until the Alerts are restored. UPDATE: March 15: Alerts are up. Updated some stories and added a new one which didn't send out an alert. Oh well. It's a stand alone in progress and hopefully it will be found. UPDATE: April 5 Still working on FF stories, lol. Got busy but will update my FF stories. The Easter story will also be for Mother's Day and the others will be coming along. In the meantime, the latest installment of a MH FF at another site is up right here. Happy holidays! UPDATE: April 7: I updated the "Meanwhile Back at the Ranch" story and added a new short one that's on the time line with Glimmer of Twilight, Mustang Madness and Circle of Women. The email alerts for that one might not have gone out as the alert system is a bit hit and miss. Glimmer of Twilight's undergong some outlining, Escape from Bannon County, some reconstruction since it's an oldie and Slow Dancing in Cicely will have some updates soon as will the Ranch ones. Also, there are other writers contributing some really good stories so let's hope to see more stories and any more writers who are out there, give it a shot, as writing's a lot of fun. UPDATE: April 11: Stats are down again and have been down for days, grrrr... I'm working on updates but have been busy the past few days and I've got a few ideas percolating for down the line. Maybe crossing a sequel to "Chaos Theory" with Women's Murder Club (the book not the atrocious series). Hmmm, and a FF story from the past when they were younger...and quite different. Glad to see people writing stories!! Please continue... and for anyone else, if the muse hits, just go with it. :-) UPDATE: April 26: My dental work has slowed down the muse a bit but I'm still working on my stories. I'm still watching Season 1 on DVD and I have to admit I'm exasperated at Matt for his attitude, lol. And someone's got to rewrite the "Deadly Fashion" episode. Maybe on downt he line...James Patterson's latest Women's Murder Club book is on its way to my mail box. :-). If Lindsey messes up this good thing she's got with that gorgeous Homeland Security guy, I'll send it back! Still outlining the worlds longest(?) FF story, "Glimmer of Twilight" and working on the others...along with a two-part holiday story which I think takes place while they're growing up in Texas. Spring's finally here and that means taking the lap top outside and letting the muse return... UPDATE: May 5: I'm still trying to update fan fictions but spring fever has hit again, lol. This fan fiction story by So Cal Writer for the charity FF auction is published at her site so check it out if you're a MH FF reader. Hopefully here some more "Meanwhile Back on the Ranch" updates and some others. I'm close to getting close (lol) to the end of two of them. And since I can't really function without 4-5 FF stories under construction at the same time, I have some more I'm working on including one that takes place some years earlier. UPDATE: May 6: My writing exercise turned FF is up. Not sure if this will be it, or it will be longer. A little different. Very strange but exploring the reality that people can be very different during earlier periods of their live and undergo evolution and growth to become who they are later on, shaped by that earlier life. Don't know what I'll do with it. Ah spring fever! UPDATE: May 10: Oh lordy, the muse hit again, a story for MH readers honoring Mother's Day. Just a quick form of expression. Am working on updates to complete two FF stories and outlining the remainder of "Glimmer of Twilight". And updates for the other two, "Meanwhile Back at the Ranch" and the multi-timeline story, "Where Are You Going; Where Have you Been?". UPDATE: May 24: All the MH FFs are in progress but hee hee, my flashback for "Meanwhile Back at the Ranch" turned into its own prequel, called "Night on Sunset" which is actually a cross-FF story with Hunter of all shows! Also, Cindy the character who's the other sorority sister mentioned in passing is a character on another book series/show. Not sure how that worked! It just got away from me...eek! I ordered that show's first season along with the long-awaited blast-from-the-past show, Tales of a Golden Monkey which was one of the retro 1930s shows that arose from a certain Harrison Ford flick with a whip that came out at that time. I wish I could figure out where I put some very ancient FFs involving that show, before I even knew they had a name for that type of writing. Right now, if you're reading this, I won't know you were here. Why? Because once again, stats are broken. The FF people fixed some accounts that were missing stats since May 14 but unfortunately while doing that, they broke the stats for other accounts including this one. But thanks for dropping by and reading anyway. Hopefully, it won't take two weeks for the stats to come back up! :-) UPDATE: June 3 I'm being lazy and very busy but I have a new transition piece that prob doesn't make much sense that precedes "Mustang Madness" and working on some others. Socalwriter also has the final chapter of her four-part story on her site which is linked under the May 5, just go back to Misc. Fictions. I'm also watching Hunter on DVD which is very interesting years later. Unlike MH, all the seasons will be released by mid-summer. That's really the way to release TV shows on DVD. UPDATE: June 14: Wow, I'm falling behind on my stories so I'm trying to catch up! I've updated "Meanwhile Back at the Ranch" and what might be the longest FF story ever (lol), "Glimmer of Twilight UPDATE: June 26: Lol, but I got creative again and instead of updating longer, older FF stories, I wrote some shorter vignettes. So I hope you enjoy them! Stats are down again so I won't know if anybody's reading them until the PTB at FF figure out how to keep their servers online so that they don't keep going down for days at a time. Hope to update the others soon but lookout for the shorter ones b/c this muse is just going in a rather different direction! UPDATE: July 18: I'm updating some of my FF stories which are taking off in some rather interesting directions. Mostly "Meanwhile Back on the Ranch" where it's clear that the villain has an accomplice! And some of the others. Anyone else who loves to write, feel free to add to the FF collection b/c writing's fun too. You can even rewrite old episodes including the appalling bad finale, "Final Vows". How should it have turned out? UPDATE: July 20: Some of you might have noticed chapters are missing on some of the stories. I didn't change them. is experiencing server problems most likely to updates that were added recently as the missing chapters are the most recent updates to the stories. It's frustrating when you do a lot of updating to have all that work disappear but if they're gone for good, I'll try to go back and update them. Hopefully it's just a glitch. I did email at support@ to report it. But they never respond to emails so it's anyone's guess if or when the chapters will return. I can see them in my account when logged but apparently if you're not, you might not be able to see all of them. Sorry, just another Fanfiction.net issue that comes from not hiring experienced IT support. UPDATE: August 1 Wow, time passes and I've been busy doing other work and reading books to review! But I'm trying to keep up on the FF stories. I've wrapped up "Slow Dancing in Cicely" and am almost wrapping up "Meanwhile Back at the Ranch" and a few chapters left for "Escape to Bannon County". So that's three that will be done soon...finally. "Glimmer of Twilight" is still coming in fits and starts and I'm outlining it right now. It's by far the most complicated one to write. "Back at the Cabin" , I'm working on as well as the other FF story that's being outlined. And I've been doing shorter ones as writing prompts. It's really fun writing FF and it would be great if some of the readers out there would consider writing some as well. There's other people writing great stories for MH which have been fun to read. Other people thinking about it who should really try it. It is really fun to write stories and to stir characters in the direction you think or want them to go. Come on, we all know that MH ended in a way that bit and yes, some of us would have rewritten most of the entire third season but if so, here's the place to do that! Thought the last episode didn't end right, then rewrite it! Write another episode from the POV of one of the characters or write something completely new. There's a lot of entertaining and good writing out there just waiting to burst you! Good luck and happy summer days! UPDATE: Sept. 19: Trying to update most of the FF stories. Hoping to finish a couple including Birds, Bees and Babies and Bannon County this month but maybe mostly done. Glimmer of Twilight's the toughest story by far to write so that's more slowly. I am outlining another sequel to it when I finish it. I also had a Halloween story but it's pretty grim. Autumn's busier for me but I'll try to keep updating. Hope you enjoy reading! UPDATE: Sept. 24: Hi, I've updated with some MH blurbs, including The Plan which isn't showing up due to some problems with 's story updating and feed updates. Until it's fixed, I don't know if you can read that story. or the others but keep an eye out for them when fixes itself again. Thanks for reading! Hope the site's working better soon! I did send emails to support on this issue and there's been discussions elsewhere as well. UPDATE: Oct. 3: I'm updating the blerb, The Plan into a story because I'm hopefully getting ready to finish up the Escape to Bannon County story. More blerbs are possible. My muse is really scatter brained right now mostly due to other writing work. And anyone out there who hasn't written a story and would like to try it, go for it! It's fun to do as you'll find out once you take that plunge! UPDATE: Oct. 11: Just writing, lol. Trying to update stories. Moving along with the Escape to Bannon County and others and a vignette here and there. Been enjoying reading some great writing on MH FF by others here. Some of the rest of you folks, don't be shy, write that story that's germinating inside your mind. It's a lot of fun! You'll get writing and think, dang why didn't I do this sooner? :-) Nov. 18: if you're reading this, it means is actually up and running. Yes, it's busted again, messed up its gateway to its server so it's on and off until they figure out what went wrong. I'm updating some and hopefully you can read them, or they fix this soon...grrrrrr... UPDATE: DEC. 16: Hi, I've completed "Back at the Cabin" finally and am in the homestretch in both "The Life of a Writer" and believe it or not, "A Glimmer of Twilight". Hope to get them both completed and will do some holiday ones that are shorter and outlining some others including a story on the "GOT" storyline addressing the Jaguar. UPDATE: Jan. 9: Been busy but completed "The Life of a Writer"and am approaching the finale of "A Glimmer of Twilight". Stats of course are down again after being fixed after a major breakdown so I'm not sure if anyone's reading my stories, lol. But I'll keep writing them hoping that folks are checking them out. :-) UPDATE: Feb. 21 Hi, it's been a while but I've been pretty busy so I'm trying to work on some MH updates and also the GH story. I've also started posting original romance fiction at FictionPress and have three stories up there which has been fun. The stat counter's down at both sites again so I'm not sure if anyone's reading, lol, but I'll be back to update soon. UPDATE: March 17: I finally finished "Glimmer of Twilight", thanks for reading it! The update alerts are very delayed so just so you know, I have a Matt Houston St. Patty's story in progress and will update some other FFs. UPDATE: April 11: HI, as you know this site has been very buggy. I'm trying to update my fanfictions but that's going to be based on whether I can log in or the updates even make it on the site. Hope people like "Shadow of the Jaguar"...tell me what you think of it! :-) Alas, Stats are frozen again, lol. If you don't know, it's a sequel to "Glimmer of Twilight" (the longest opus) and Mustang Madness (but not as much info wise from this one) and Stefan and Sasha appeared in "Halloween" as well. Thanks as always for reading! The updates for "Shadow..." appear to be throwing off error messages for about 4-5 hours and then showing up after that. Chapt. 8 finally started showing up after five hours! Hope they fix this problem soon because it's been a cycle of bringing the site up, chapters not loading to the actual link, site going back down. UPDATE: Jan. 22, 2012...Wow it's been forever since I updated! Been super busy but trying to update the FF stories. I'm also finishing up "In the Crossroads" a little FF story on the Matt Houston storyline. It's rated M for mature and takes place in their past. UPDATE: Feb. 19: I've been updating some stories and uh oh, another MH story rated M has emerged. This is a bit different, a bit darker and more conflict driven than some of the others. I'm hoping people like it though it's a bit and maybe provide some feedback. As always, thanks for reading my stories, for the feedback and support! UPDATE: March 30: Not that I'm all that surprised but story alerts are down again...so those on story or author alerts here, might have to check to see if anything new's up. I did update my GH story once since the latest outage. UPDATE: Sept. 7, 2012 Still updating stories but the two Paradise stories are having problems displaying the latest chapters. I do believe they're both up, they just don't show on the fandom page. I had to delete and republish the last chapter on one of the stories. Something's broken and I don't think knows about it yet! UPDATE OCT. 18, 2012 Trying to get some FF in especially with the new fandom in Paradise. Thanks so much for all the reviews for those stories! I really appreciate it. Doing some MH stories as well. UPDATE: broke shoulder so hope to return when it's fixed Update: July 5: Email alerts appear to be down or delayed at least for me. I'm updating my MH and Paradise stories. So keep an eye out if you're not getting alerted especially on the "M" rated stories which don't appear on the main FF story page. ' UPDATE: Aug. 11--I'm updating stories mostly Deja Vu story. Got a few chapters up and am writing more of them. Also working on the next "That Summer Night" story as well but it's taking longer. |
