My current fandom is Person of Interest. Almost all my fics are from this fandom at the moment, but I have plans for fics from some other fandoms as well.

As far as general content, well, POI is over-saturated with Rinch (at least on AO3), I have little interest in Shoot, and Careese annoys me because the show seriously fumbled their relationship and the romantic twist brings up some irritating implications. But I'm heavily invested in deep, intimate, Platonic relationships between two guys -- no sex, no romance -- and since I couldn't find a lot of that with interesting (non-fluffy) plots, I decided to become the supplier. So my material is primarily Finch & Reese, deep emotions, ramped up drama and some trauma or H/C to boot.

My first fandom was The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Disney), over 20 years ago (and I'd still like to get back in touch with one of my dearest friends during that time, Matthew "Disney" Yates). I started writing some fics, with grand ideas about where they'd go, but I didn't get far at the time, and my headspace is so different by now.

My primary anime fandom is Slayers. I recently got back into that fandom (finally watching the fourth and fifth seasons), and am eager to write a couple fics I've been putting off, but I have a lot of POI to write before I can do that, and other projects taking up a lot of my time, so I'll be lucky if I manage to start those fics within the year.

I'm Arkylie on DeviantART; if you'd like creepy short stories, I've got a little collection over there, but not much in the way of drawing just yet. I have finally published some POI fan art. The public art I'm most proud of is my Christmas guest page for the Selkie webcomic; I also designed the TV Tropes logo (which has mutated a bit, but still bears the lampshade on the second T, an element I came up with and mocked up during the initial discussion about a logo).

On YouTube, I'm Arkylie as well; my first official video is "Try, or Try Not (Sorry, Yoda)." Also look up "Tiny Box Tim Day is June 28th": TBTD is a holiday for donating time, money, or creativity to charity (check the hashtag on Twitter, and consider joining in!). My channel is mostly a gaming channel, with random weird and silly clips from my nieflings and me playing Minecraft and other games; there's also a few small skits (teaching the kids to punch for the camera), animals being silly, Minecraft tutorials (including Arkylie's Kitchen, for the HarvestCraft mod), charity vids, the random vlog or two, and so on.

I've started a video series called A Fugitive in Stardew Valley, which is a Let's Play in the fashion of the original Let's Plays (creative storytelling, deliberately mutating the plot -- not just footage of me playing the game). Probably the most enjoyable videos on my channel that aren't compilations (such as the intro to Norken Tackles Games, or Arkylie and the Climbing-Mesh Maze). At some point, I might post transcripts here.

I don't publish erotica, but I have published fics that cover sexuality, and fics that can get pretty dark, which is part of why they'll never end up on this site.
