I write fanfiction because I love writing and it's my way of getting what I want from the characters when the shows don't do it themselves.

I mainly write Bones and Star Trek: Voyager fanfiction, although I only just started writing Trek because when it was on TV I wasn't a great writer, I read a lot and always wished I could write something that was in character, but still emotional and sweet but never tried. Until I came across the FOX series Bones, in which Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz completely stole my heart in the first seasons. I started writing fanfiction around the age of 18 because that's when I felt I could write something of a level worthy of publishing.

In 2011 I had the honour of meeting Kate Mulgrew and shortly after, in May 2012 Robert Beltran was at a convention I attended and I was captured by both of their characters. I've had the pleasure of meeting both on several occasions since and they're both captivatingly charming. The reason why I write VOY is different from the reason why I write Bones. Unfortunately, unlike ED and DB, Kate and Robert don't get along. I love shows where the protagonists are best friends, like Bones and Nikita among others. On ST:VOY this wasn't the case and I think it affected the show in a way that prevented the relationship between Kathryn Janeway and Chakotay to develop. I love them and I want them together.

Bones I write because they are the definition of chemistry. They inspire me and Temperance Brennan is an infinitely interesting character to write. Baby fic is not my genre so I will probably not write new canon Bones fic, but there's enough storylines that don't include a baby.

Starting to write X-files and Scully & Mulder fiction was hard for me because I feel like that's such a sensitive relationship, it's so precious to me that I didn't dare to tamper with it until after many years of writing. I travelled to New York in May 2016 to see Gillian Anderson perfrom live on stage, and it was the best trip of my life.

I'm a romantic at heart, I believe in true love and I enjoy writing slightly angsty stories with a happy ending. Sometimes that ending is very happy, or scenes in between can get pretty hot too. Writing this challenges me to explore relationships beyond initial chemistry and a spark, which is interesting to me because it often means the end of a show on TV and producers and writers are sometimes scared of starting a relationship between 2 characters. I believe that relationships are never bad, TV needs more true love and the world could do with a little more peace and love as well.

So now I'm able to write what I want, express my ideas and I write because it makes me happy. If it doesn't make you happy by all means tell me why, I love to get constructive criticism and I'm not a native speaker of the English language so I'll gladly change any errors I make.
