I have read fan fiction for as long as i can remember but I just recently started creating stories of my own. My favorite book series is Harry Potter (which JK Rowling is slowly ruining with her ongoing episodes of diarrhea of the mouth and her 'regrets') and my favorite TV series is The Big Bang Theory and Doctor Who.

Ships:

Ron/Hermione: (HP) I have always loved the idea of falling in love with your best friend as that is the real life situation for me.

Sheldon/Amy: (TBBT) There is something so unique about this couple that draws me in like a magnet. They seem like the underdogs when it comes to relationships but somehow they always end up on top. They don't follow the rules of "normal" and I like that.

Rory/Amy: (DW) I think most woman dream of having a guy like Rory. Someone who would wait 2000 years and does whatever is needed to keep you safe. From beginning to end Rory and Amy were meant for each other.

Spock/Uhura: (Star Trek) Its amazing how something so illogical makes perfect sense.

One of my pet peeves of fanfiction is abandoned stories! I hate when i read chapter after chapter, getting sucked into the story one word at a time and then... the updates stop... months pass, years pass and no update. I never get to know how the story ended!!! Needless to say that irks me to no end, but i still come back for more.
