I dislike long profiles, so I'm keeping this short.

My name's Ryn (the Yuki is just there because my brain failed me), my age isn't your concern, and I'll likely never post anything here. I just enjoy reading (and reviewing) stories, and doubt I would have any time to write them myself.

I have a long list of pet peeves, though the ones that irritate me the most are senseless character bashing (read: "senseless"), when a well-established character acts illogically or so out of character that I want to throw glass tubes across the room; rape stories where the victim suddenly goes "Oh, it's okay, you love me, so I forgive you instantly!"; and giant walls of text. I'm also none too partial to any Harry Potter CharacterxOC stories, and Jesus Christ, The Walking Dead writers, quit it with the Daryl/OC stories.

I like slash, but let me tell you, and I am quickly tiring of the repetitiveness of the whole thing, so the pairings I ship are extremely dicey, and few in between. I usually prefer my heterosexual pairings, especially when they are canon, though there are exceptions, such as for Remus/Sirius (because at least there was more to support it, as opposed to Remus/Tonks which just... randomly happened). The only exception to this I can think of is Spock and Uhura from Star Trek: 2009 - even homophobes know that Spock/Kirk is the real romance in Star Trek. I don't even try to fight it, and I will admit that I didn't appreciate how Uhura was primarily thrown in there to just be "The Love Interest." If I had to pick one slash pairing to ship above all others, though, I would have to say England/China from Hetalia: Axis Powers. There is just so much potential for it, and the fact that there is so little for it upsets me greatly.

That's all I can think of, at any rate.
