I'm back!!! I know it's been forever and a day, but I am back, and I intend on finishing what I started!

I have a lot of works in progress that I'm SO excited about releasing! Here's a little teaser of what's to come, in case you're interested:

Phantom of the Opera

Crash Love (Multiple Pairings) - This is a series of twelve vignettes based on the songs from the album Crash Love by: AFI. Chapter 4: Too Shy To Scream is in the works (after a long hiatus), so hopefully that will be available soon!

CexCells (Multiple Pairings) - This is another set of vignettes based on a music album. As the title would suggest, you can likely expect a few M ratings from this as well. (Still in the works)

Nice (EC...I think. Or just Erik...not sure yet.) - This is a bit of an interesting one, I think. Again, this is involved in the playlist project, and the song is by Duran Duran. This somehow managed to turn from a oneshot to a multi-chapter fic, so that was a surprise, even to me. I have an extremely specific characterization that I'm trying to create, so it's taking a while to shape. That being said, there will be a bit of a wait on this one. However, I hope it's worth it in the end!

Sleeping With Ghosts (EC) - This is a multi-chapter songfic based on the Placebo song of the same name. I decided to move in a new direction with this one, so the entire thing is being reworked and will be posted shortly.

Down Here (EC) - I don't know what it is with me and depressing intimacy lately, but this is yet another. I heard the song "Down Here" by Blaqk Audio and HAD to turn it into a songphic. It's so darkly beautiful, and really spoke to me, so I had to do it. - *Almost finished

A Familiar Voice With a Stranger's Face - First 3 chapters are up, and the following chapters are moving right along as well! It's actually turning out to be shorter than I had envisioned, but it works.

Light and Peace (Kinda ECish) - This is one I'm particularly excited about, because it it based off of something that Hugh Panaro said to me when I met him. I'm not 100% sure where it's going yet, so we'll all just have to wait and see!

I have an ongoing songfic project in the works as well. (Geared exclusively toward Phantom of the Opera, for now.) It's a bit of an odd project, I think, but I'm excited about how it's turning out thus far. (Hint: "Corps of Corpses" and "All of This" are part of said project)

So needless to say, I'm a bit obsessed with songfics. At this point, they're probably my favorite things to write. So on that note, if there's a song that you would like to see in phiction form, message me, and I will make it happen! You may even throw in a preferred pairing, if you wish. _

And on the note of songfics: I always include the name of the artist with each songfic, so I strongly encourage you to give the song a listen on Youtube or elsewhere. I do tend to include lyrical references within the fic, but I don't always. Also, beyond the words, the music itself inspires and shapes so much of the writing, and really adds an unseen element to it all. The fic itself, of course, is the work of interest, but I feel like you're only getting half of the story without knowing what music inspired it. That being said, if for some reason you can't find a song or can't access Youtube, PM me, and we can figure out a way to grant you access to the song. I just feel like it's so important to be exposed to as much of the influence as is possible.

Now, regarding reviews: Let's be honest...what author doesn't love them? A good, thoughtful review not only motivates me and inspires me to keep going, but with constructive criticism, can also help me to grow as a writer. That being said, the "aww...good story. Update soon" is nice and certainly appreciated, but I would ideally ask for a bit more than that. Thoughts, criticism, etc. What about it appealed to you? What could have been better? Is there anything that you didn't understand? This really goes for any author, not just me. We all put a lot of time and effort into these fics, so it's always nice to know that they're being read and appreciated. So that's my 2 cents on that.
