Author has written 10 stories for Dungeons and Dragons, Final Fantasy VIII, Star Wars, Europa Universalis, and Warhammer. Hi there, I'm the guy above. wow its been a long time since this account was openned and I'm still back every year or two. Guess I must like fan-fiction! Four of the stories here are FVIII fiction; one, Hitting The Town, is a one-shot humour piece imaging what happens when the gang go on a bar crawl in Balamb. Teenage superheroes really do need barring from strong drink. The other three are a loose trilogy set over the ten next years after the Time Compression incident: In What Makes A Hero, the first of the three, the events of a SeeD mission into District-D are described from the point-of-view of a Galbadian soldier. Set seven years before the events in WMAH, Four Blue Corners covers the farewell party in Esthar Citythe gang hold for themselves now theTime Compressionmission that brought them all together is over. Laguna conspires with Rinoa to gate-crash the event, and (In a slight change from the offical story), Seifer is returned to space/time and awakes in the Dragon mountains north of Esthar City. Finally A Sky Witch (Work in progress) is set eighteen months after WMAH, and starts with the bloody kidnapping of Ellone Loire, now a Speaker in the Estharian House of Representatives, in Esthar City. Recalled to Esthar City, the SeeDs are shaken when she begins to appear before them in new Time Dreams controlled by her kidnappers. A trap has been laid, but the prize is unknown. FVIII apart, I've mostly written in a Dungeons & Dragons setting. Perspective takes a light-hearted approach to traditional D&D stories as our heroes become embroiled with the dreaded 'midget mafia' in an outback town. Featuring hobbit hardcases, magic mushrooms, and far too many party members. Stone Emperor is my first attempt at a serious action adventure, with two dubious treasure hunters pursued by tribesmen across the wilderness as they search for the lost hideout of a long-dead guerrilla captain. Finally, Sayings of the Jedi was my own reaction to the awful writing and cliched plots of the last three Star Wars movies. Someone should have chained Lucas upwhile they were writing the scripts... |
