Who am I?

26 y.o. Filipino-American

I love to write but I don't plan on becoming a professional writer. Writing for me is very therapeutic. Once I write I start to think like the characters. In a way, I become the characters in my story. Even at a very young age, I remembered filling countless amounts of notebooks with story plots and diary entries. I was a very quiet child so I found writing as my means of communication. I don't know where my creativity comes from, maybe because I'm a Pisces. But I remember that I always loved to make stories in my head whenever I get bored.

What kind of stories do I like?

DRAMA/ ROMANCE! I love stories where characters undergo a change of heart and where there is some sort of conflict that leads to a misunderstanding. But in the end the problems that arise are ultimately solved and there is a growth in understanding and strength for the characters involved, like in my story called 'The Secret'. Like in my other story 'A Complete 180', I like when characters discover something that they never would have realized if they weren't in a given situation. And that leads to the next topic.

What kind of characters do I like?

I like characters that are sometimes misunderstood- not necessarily like the rebel/gothic character types who claim they are misunderstood by society. But I like the quirky and geeky characters that at first sight a cool person might never want to be seen with them but after a little amount of time together they realize that these characters are not all that weird. Therefore, I like giving quirky and geeky characters a 3-dimensional feel. That's why I like to use Macy as my heroine b/c she is quirky but she is also strong and level-headed. I like to use the whole Macy and Nick coupling because Macy and Nick are total polar opposites but they end up together. I don't like how Disney just made them happen to fall in love without any character development whatsoever. If I were to choose which Macy I like better, I would choose Season 1 Macy in a heart beat because she has way more character than the Macy in Jonas L.A. Therefore, the character- couples I like are those that are not made for each other right away but when they do fall in love its because they discovered something about the other person that they never really knew before.

I hope you guys take your time to read the stories I write. I really love it when you guys review and express your input. You guys rock! It might take a while for me to create another story because when a new story line gets introduced in my head, I need to thoroughly think about it for awhile and think about how it could end. Therefore, in all the stories I write I usually have the ending already written otherwise the story would not flow coherently. So as of now I have six big stories that I finished, 'A Complete 180' , "The Secret", "Remember Me", "The Great Pretenders", "A Brother's Betrayal" and "Trust Me". Most of these stories that I have done so far were ideas that I had for quite some time. I just tweaked the story-lines a bit to fit with a NACY romance.

I hope you enjoy my stories. And because I frequently read your reviews I already can tell I have some loyal readers out there so thanks for believing in me because some of you already put my stories in your favorite list even before I finished them! You're awesome. :-)
