Hey everyone. Just writing a little about myself.

I'm a recent college grad trying to make money in a terrible market and barely succeeding. Now I'm going for a masters, because that seems to be the only way to get a job these days.

I'm pretty new to the whole "writing" thing. I studied chemistry in college and want to develop the other half of my brain, so here I am. I encourage all of you to criticize me harshly, as I'm hoping to improve my writing skills, and people being nice doesn't do that nearly as much as people being critical. Just please explain why my writing sucks. Just informing me that it does suck doesn't help me, I already know that.

So anyway, I hope to meet some interesting aspiring writers, and get some tips from them. Look forward to talking with all of you!
