Who am I?: In that crazy world known as "real life" I am (mostly) known as Rae; in the interwebs I almost always go by Maralae, though some people call me Mara. I am twenty-four years old, I live in Argentina, and I have four cats, and a boyfriend who goes by the name of Mausie. As you can imagine, he tends to get used as a scratching post by the cats. I find it terribly amusing.

What kind of fanfiction can you expect from me?: Irregularly-updated game fanfiction, almost always introduced by a three-paragraph-long Author's Note (that you are more than free to skip.) My fanfiction tends to... avert a little from the events the game established, not because I'm a fanon whore, but because I am of the opinion that re-writing the game word by word and scenario by scenario is utterly boring*.I may also include bits and pieces of my headcanon there; but rest assured, I tend to make sure my headcanons aren't stupidly illogical. Ah, who am I kidding - they may or may not be illogical, I do not know. I do not own the game's lore, thus, I cannot say whether anything I come up with is logical or not. If you're incredibly bothered by the fact that I made up a thing or two, then my heartfelt apologies - the Back button's that way.

However, rest assured that I would never put a shotgun in the Dragon Age universe or something like that. Even I have my limits. Sometimes. When I haven't had too many margaritas.

*Before anyone gets offended, I'm not saying that those fanfictions are boring to read - I'm simply saying that I, as an individual, find writing them utterly boring. But that's just my opinion.

What things do I like?: Well, I like videogames, music, books, movies... you know, the usual stuff. I also have a soft spot for alcohol, but as of 2012, I'm trying my best to reduce my intake of the glorious, glorious substance. I also love cats. ;3;

Videogames I like: The Baldur's Gate series (my absolute favourite games ever!!), Assassin's Creed series, Bioshock series, Dragon Age series, Fallout series, Skyrim (I've never played the other TES games, but I plan on changing that soon!), American McGee's Alice & Alice: Madness Returns, Neverwinter Nights series, Dead Space series, Silent Hill series, etcetera, etcetera. There are more, I just can't remember them now.

Music I like: LOTS. Seriously, LOTS. I like rock, jazz, classical, metal, blues, soul, etcetera. Although I must say that Audioslave, Pearl Jam and Within Temptation hold a special place in my heart.

Books I like: Again, the list is endless. But I'm particularly fond of the Lord of the Rings series and 1984. And The Illustrated Man.
