Author has written 8 stories for How to Train Your Dragon, and Rise of the Guardians. Name: Travis Church Age: God only knows Sex: I'm a guy...don't hit on me. When I am inspired, I write what works for me. I like music, cooking and reading. Here you will see all my works and watch them grow. If I don't write then I read books and if I don't read books then I read other fanfictions. My reviewer's style: pointed, articulate, specific. I get down and dirty with the details of your story. This is what a review will look like from me: introduction x point ( more depending on what I can say). I use direct citation which means that I will go right to your original work and cite it as an example for my point. I also use [sic] notation which is a fancy way of showing that there was an original mistake in the work and it was not my fault. Get ready because it's going to be a dirty, bumpy road. My writer's style: nebulous, freeflowing, organic. I'll add something else if I can think of it. 2012 Addendum: It's been a really long time and I just haven't been inspired to make new fanfiction. I just haven't seen a good movie or tv show or book or anything really to get me going. But after seeing Rise of the Guardians, I just had this fire reignited. I just was so amazed by the look, the feel, everything about that movie that it just jumpstarted something inside of me! It really reminded me when I first saw How to Train Your Dragon and I really did feel like a kid again. I'm really glad that I found something that has me going and I'm so glad I get to be part of another growing community! Stuff I'm working on 1883: Late 19th century AU. This story follows in the tradition of "Travel Writing" where the author basically describes a great adventure to an exotic world. Just listening to the soundtrack, it gave me this feeling of grandeur and excitement. I wanted to obviously re-imagine some of the characters so that they would fit into this sort of story and the end result is something really dramatic, something really epic, something really action packed, and something rather political at times. If there's one thing I wished RotG had more of, it was action. So this is my way of getting that. Prepare for sword fights, gun fights, cloak and dagger stuff, and all sorts of fun! Don't forget to rate, review, and give me your thoughts! |
