Author has written 26 stories for Doctor Who, Darren Shan Saga/Cirque Du Freak, War of the Worlds, Dracula, Hellsing, Godzilla, and Batman. Hello, and welcome to my spot on . I am The Hand of Omega (I'm special, so that's why I used spaces), a prefectly normal 17 year-old male Whovian, Hellsing fanatic, and Batman (as well as DC) fan. I live in the USA, in the state of Virgina. I generally like Fanfiction, and I wanted to share some of mine with others who wouldn't berate me. Doctor Who: I do like every incarnation, but I think my favorite is, without a doubt, Troughton (the Second Doctor). My favorite companions are Jamie, Victoria, Zoe, Jo, Harry, Sarah Jane (!!!!), Leela, Romana (both of them), Tegan (on occasion), Ace, Rose, Donna, Amy, and Rory. Ehh... I support Four/Sarah, Five/Tegan, Eight/Grace, and Nine or Ten/Rose. Nothing explicit or... how do you say... lemony. Cutsie and huggie. Ha. I dislike any pairings between incarnations. It's basically a twisted version of masturbation. A very twisted and complicated version. Also, no Doctor/Master. They're enemies. Maybe a long time ago (I do leave that possibility open, though I'll never write it), but not now. Favorite Stories/Episodes: The Dalek Invasion of Earth, The Massacre of St. Bartholomew's Eve, The Tenth Planet, The Power of the Daleks, The Evil of the Daleks, The Tomb of the Cybermen, The Web of Fear, The War Games, The Spearhead from Space, Pyramids of Mars, The Brain of Morbius (back off, I like it), Seeds of Doom, The Deadly Assassin, The Talons of Weng-Chiang, The Pirate Planet (leave me alone, it was gorgeously hysterical), City of Death, Earthshock, Mawdryn Undead, Enlightenment, The Caves of Androzoni, The Two Doctors (I have no excuse, I just love it), Remembrance of the Daleks (the first story I watched of the Classic series actually), The Curse of Fenric, The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances, School Reunion (Sarah Jane!!!!!!), The Girl in the Fireplace, The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit, Blink, Human Nature/The Family of Blood, Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead, Waters of Mars, The End of Time, The Time of Angels/Flesh and Stone, The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang, The Doctor's Wife, A Good Man Goes to War/Let's Kill Hitler, The Wedding of River Song. Now, as for Hellsing... I prefer the Ultimate OVA's (the manga's are DA BEST!!!), but the original anime has a charm of it's own. So I like them both. Alucard pwns all without exception or distinction. I don't really support any pairings (except Pip and Seras), thought Alucard and Integra can sometimes be cute. Sometimes. Barely. But it can be. Batman My favorite hero since I was six. Love the Animated series, love the Burton and Nolan movies, love the comics (with the exception of what's being going on recently... the whole "Battle for the Cowl" thing... I REALLY do not like Damian. He's a little creep) Batman rocks (looks best with short ears, like how Jim Lee draws him). Tim Drake is the best Robin. I'm not really picky with pairings... mainly Batman/Catwoman, Joker/Harley Favorite Shows: Doctor Who, Hellsing (both original anime and OVA's), NCIS, War of the Worlds (only the first season), House, Psych, Royal Pains, Stargate SG-1 (until Jack left and it just dipped into WTF territory), Avatar: The Last Airbender, Batman: The Animated Series, Teen Titans, Young Justice, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Looney Toons (What? They're the finest comedic shorts ever made), Favorite Movies: The Lion King, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Gojira (the original, uncut, Japanese version of the first Godzilla movie... don't judge me), Mothra vs Godzilla (again, don't judge me), Godzilla, Mothra, and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All Out Attack, The Dark Knight, Hotel Rawanda (it is a beautiful film), Blazing Saddles, Nosferatu, Nosferatu: Phantom der Nacht, Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (the one with the whales), Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, The War of the Worlds (original 1953 film), The Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia (the new ones), Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Batman: Under the Red Hood, Dracula (1979), Horror of Dracula Favorite Books: Dracula, Anno Dracula, The War of the Worlds, The Phantom of the Opera, Harry Potter, The Vampire Chronicles, Cirque du Freak (mainly books two and three... the series got too wierd later on and Evra was my favorite character, so there), Alex Rider, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, The Historian (READ IT!!!), The Martian Chronicles books 1 through 3, The Venusian Chronicles (both by Edgar Rice Burroughs), and The Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Vampire Hunter D What I think of slash: ... it depends. If it's canon, fine. If it should be canon, fine (yes, there are certain cases where two guy or two girl characters in anything actually need to start making out on the floor). Otherwise... nah. I mean, I actually have several gay friends and support them, homophobes need to go in a hole and think about their lives, and I believe love is love, regardless of gender, but if a character is straight, people need to respect that. And now, for a confession. I like Godzilla. No, I love the big guy. True, you can tell it's a suit. True, the effects range from passable to horrible (hey, they'r egetting better and better with each movie). True, some of the plots are awful (mainly just in the dying era of the original series). But... he is King. He truly is. I don't talk about this fandom that much, simply because I don't know anyone else who likes them, and I can't find alot of good Fanfic for him. But, I love the movies (mainly the first few in the 50's and 60's, and the 1984-1996 film series, GMK), and I love him. Long live the King. Also, there needs to be a big budget, ACCURATE version of War of the Worlds. That is, set in 1897, the year the book was written and takes place. The Pendragon version (depite the awesome design of the Tripods), doesn't count. I believe in Jesus Christ. And yes, I support gay rights. If you have a problem with that, let God judge me. Jesus did say, afterall, "Love one another, as I have loved you." I also have a deviantart account, where I am known as vampdoctoroftheopera (don't ask about the origin of that name). Enjoy my stuff! |
