Author has written 34 stories for Space 1999, Seinfeld, Doctor Who, Lost In Space, Get Smart, My Name is Earl, Godzilla, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Indiana Jones, Big Bang Theory, Knight Rider, Incredible Hulk, Gilligan's Island, Married with Children, Gamera, The Prisoner, Corner Gas, and Greatest American Hero. Where to start, where to start? I guess my writing goes all the way back to the 20th century, and Grade 6, where my teacher liked my short stories so much I just kind of latched onto it and ran with the encouragement. I wrote a bunch of painfully-unreadable Star Trek stories, Godzilla stories, and years later in my 20's found an outlet with a play-by-mail Star Trek correspondence game from 1983 to 1986 to hone my technique (Isaac Asimov I am not, but I got by). Afterwards I began writing longer stories one chapter at a time with some long distance friends, one chapter at a time. And from there my own 'Star Trek' short stories for my own entertainment, set on a ship other than the Enterprise. Years later the internet later revealed to me lots of fan fiction sites, one of which was one for 'Space:1999', so I submitted a bunch of stories for them. Enter Fanfiction.net I remember perusing this site a couple years ago, and planning to submit stories, but somehow never got around to it. Months ago, I rediscovered it, and was surprised to find how many tv series authors had written about, and I'm still surprised that they're not all science fiction! So I checked out 'Seinfeld', liked what I saw, and wrote my first Fanfiction.net story, 'The Spider-Man Oath'. Again, some encouragement from readers (you know who you are, and thank you again!) prompted me to write more 'Seinfeld' stories, submit my 'Space:1999' stories, and soon after a 'Doctor Who' yarn. As much as I love 'Star Trek and 'Doctor Who', I think there are more than enough authors out there for those categories, so I'll stick to building up other categories. I really like the cross-over section, which can really stimulate one's creative side, with so many possibilities, which is where my 'Space:1999'/'Lost In Space' cross-over resides, fitting in very nicely with all the rest people have written. In fact many of my recent stories have all been cross-overs, which I like to combine with series that haven't yet been crossed over. I like hearing from everyone that reads my work, and am open to whatever you want to say, both positive or negative. Just don't expect to see those Godzilla stories from Grade 6 posted! Favorite tv series include; Star Trek, Doctor Who, Seinfeld, Space:1999, UFO, The Prisoner, all of the the Irwin Allen series, Heroes, Coupling, Fawlty Towers, Get Smart, Corner Gas, and The Big Bang Theory. |
