Hi, now before you read any stories that i may produce, i will warn you that i am a very bad speller. I will use spell checker but i will probably miss one or two.

I am slash fan and i love writing it. I love Sherlock Holmes, Harry Potter, Torchwood, Merlin and Doctor Who. I love many other categories as well but if i said them all, it would probably take about two years to read them all.

OMG... i just got my first bad review - tell you what, shall i paste it on here and make fun of it?

Hi, no offense but this is completely out of character. The best stories take
their characters and go on from there; with this story you could have named
them 'Bill' and 'Mike' because they are no reflection of the BBC characters.

I really don't understand why there are so many 'slash' stories; neither of
them are homosexual. I always feel it's an insult to the creators etc when
people change such a fundamental aspect of their creations (whether it's
changing 'straight' characters to 'gay' or 'gay' characters to 'straight').
The beauty of the relationship between Merlin and Arthur is the fact that they
are friends, despite the fact that one is the Prince (or master) and the other
is a servant.

Firstly, this was my fanfic, if it was completely in character, we might as well not write fanfic at all and just make do with the series.

If you think that we shouldn't make straight characters gay then boo hoo, but i like the idea of Merlin and Arthur together, so you can jog on.

I know that neither of them are homosexual, but the fact that i have made them so makes this FAN FICTION!!!!!!! you know, where people write about a particular thing and make stuff up about it including turning straight characters gay and vice versa.

As for the whole master servant friendship thingie, you don't think its beautiful that someone could love someone else regardless of social status? how heartless are you?

Lastly, and this is the most important bit, why are you reading a fanfic that clearly states the pairing and the fact that this is a romance fic? do you read them just to slag people off and make them feel bad about themselves? because thats what it looks like to me.

Bit of advice Xavier, if you don't like the genre DON'T READ THE BLOODY STORY!!!!!!!!

Wow, just read your profile page and are you nasty. I thought I was quite
polite about your story - even if I felt it was out of character (oh and the
whole point of fan fiction is to use the characters for your story - you know,
create new stories using the characters of your chosen film, TV show, book
etc). Your response on your profile page actually implies that you are rather
small minded. Don't worry, I certainly won't trouble you by reading (or

I'm sorry if i offended you, but thats how your review made me feel. I write fanfiction because i love doing it. I don't mind critism at all but the way you wrote that review just made me feel a little upset. I'm not small minded or nasty in the least and am a little offended that you said that, considering you don't know me. Like i said, i don't mind critism, and if you would like to give me tips on how to improve my writing, i would be grateful. I didn't think that there was a point to fanfiction to be honest. We are all entitled to an opinion, but when writing critism, try to think a little more about what you say, because you never know who you might offend.
