I work in healthcare, and as much as I like to write, I like to read even better. My favorite musicians are Michael Buble, Katy Perry and the band Neon Trees. My favorite actress is a toss up between Sandra Bullock or Amanda Seyfried and my favorite song is Tears for Fears' "Everybody Wants to Rule the World", with a close second in Prince's "Little Red Corvette." My favorite books are numerous but I've enjoyed the Harry Potter series, Twilight, and almost anything written by Nora Roberts or Linda Howard. "Into the Water," by Paula Hawkins is a recent favorite. "The Silent Wife" by A.S.A. Harrison was epic and I highly recommend it. I listen to the podcast "Writing Excuses," with Brandon Sanderson to learn more about the craft of writing fiction. I've also watched Sanderson's BYU lectures on writing fantasy and science fiction. Additionally, I've been reading books by James Scott Bell and Donald Maass to try and improve my writing skills. My hobbies include making plans, reading, writing, and watching TV, movies, and films.
