A brief note on PS3 and/or non-U.S. story stuff--according to the Tales wiki, Raven's actual backstory was that he wasn't born "Schwann," but "Damuron," the product of a noble family who somehow disappointed his father. I am not retconning my version (which at least also includes background Daddy issues), because it'd be a pain, plus I think Damuron is a silly name, plus plus it'd be much harder to see him ever going back to "Schwann" if that was a name Alexei had just made up for him, as opposed to what he'd been born with. ...Yep.
