I'm in my mid-30s, have two college degrees but am using neither one of them. I'm working as a security guard, which gives me ample time to pursue my real passion--writing. I have been published, but mostly small magazines, e-zines, and I've had one chapbook out from Sideshow Press with more projects to come with that particular publisher.

A good friend sucked me into this site. What seems so appealing about it is that above all else I believe writing should be fun. That sitting down and telling stories should just be a blast. When you get all caught up in markets and revisions and trying to produce something commercial, the joy of writing can be lost. Doing fanfic may be the perfect way for me to remind myself how much a pleasure writing can be.

I'm a longtime obsessive fan of the TV shows Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, so expect to see a lot of fanfic about those shows from me.
