Author has written 30 stories for Harry Potter, Newsies, and Queer as Folk. In 2002-2004, the Newsies section of FFN echoed with the writings of Shortie, member of the NML, NJL and other message boards of the Newsiedom world. On every update page you saw her, bringing you a new story for no charge (disclaimer- because I don't own the newsies). One shots and unfinished chapter fics, Shortie one day stopped writing them and disappeared from the fandom. Until one day when all that changed... shortie is back Currently Working On: frengers- It started off as an amusing, guilty pleasure piece about Jack pumping gas and soon turned into an obsession. After peaking in high school, Jack Kelly can't seem to do anything right. He gets kicked out of school, fired from his dead end job, and evicted from the apartment he can't even afford to pay for. While everyone around him is growing up, Jack is still stuck in a high school mentality. He has a lot of growing up to do; and what better place to do it in New York City. Mostly het, some slash, updated regularly, hopefully pee-in-your-pants funny. NuSies- Finally, I have a title. Lame? Yes. And I love it. Quiet, studious David Jacobs is forced into fraternity life after his father realizes that there is a chapter of Nu Sigma (of which he was a member in college) at David's school. David is sure he'll hate it; after all, all frat guys care about is drinking beer and getting laid. But when the NuSies have to band together to fight against an unfair dues increase, David finds himself leading them. And along the way, he learns what brotherhood truly is. I want you all to do something. Stop reading and go turn on your Newsies DVD. Now, go to the scene where they find out about the price jack up and watch Kid Blink's little freak out. Now watch the background and tell me what you see. What are you waiting for? Go do it! Now, what you should see is Oscar mocking our favorite one eyed newsie. You can draw your own conclusions from that action, but I will always be convinced that it is proving that BLOSCAR IS TOTALLY CANON. the end. |
