Author has written 3 stories for Inuyasha.

Hi! I'm not really sure about how to go about telling things about myself... so here's a few starters...

About Me!

Name: Lindsey H.
Birthday: 24th January
Country: USA

I'm not quite too sure what all I'll end up writing about. Right now, my focus is on SessXRin FanFiction. I am an avid reader, so my stories will probably end up branching out.

Currently, I am focusing on writing Paper Cranes. I"ll give some more details about in a second. As to the very long one-shot I was writing, I've put that on hold for now. I meant to put it out a long time ago, but I hit some logistical issues as far as plot went, so I'm taking a break from it. It might never get finished or posted, but I don't know. We'll see =) The next story I would like to put out is a fairytale retelling involving Izayoi and Inutaishou. They've always been two of my favorite characters with one of the most beautiful and tragic stories in Inuyasha, and I can't help but indulge myself when it comes to them XD Another story I want to put out eventually will be a series of one-shots between Sesshomaru and Rin, perhaps with some others mixed in there =)

As a lover of books, I am open to any recommendations people have! One that I would especially recommend (it's a purely fun and fluff book) is Cinder by Marissa Meyer. And no, the author isn't related to Stephanie Meyer. One thing that's particularly interesting about her is that she used to write FanFiction herself! Anyway, if you're looking for a fun, quick read, check it out.

Another book I would recommend is David Copperfield by Charles Dickens. Yeah, it's incredibly thick and rather slow at sometimes, so I would check it out on audio if you can. My personal favorite by Dickens, however, is Tale of Two Cities. It is a must read.

I just recently finished reading Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell. I was extremely frustrated with Scarlett throughout nearly the entire book, as I'm sure other readers have been. However, I would recommend this simply because it's fascinating. You gain a great Southern perspective of the American Civil War, one that I wasn't familiar with at all. The ending is what makes this book fantastic, however. It's incredibly frustrating to read , but it's amazing to reflect on after you've finished it.

As I have mentioned earlier, my latest story is going to reflect several elements from Gone With the Wind. Paper Cranes draws heavily on character types, I feel. If you've ever read or seen GWTW, then hopefully you'll recognize a lot of these characteristics in Paper Cranes. For example, Rin is very Scarlett-like in some ways, Sesshomaru will be quite Butler-ish, and Kohaku is rather like Ashley. However, other than the characters, I hope Paper Cranes will stand strongly on its own. If you decide to look into my latest story, you'll eventually see some influences from Pride and Prejudice as well as Arabian Nights (in term as Scheherazade). More than GWTW, however, I want the characters to grow throughout the story. Whereas Scarlett, until the last perhaps thirty pages, is almost the same as when the book began (as was the intention of Margaret Mitchell, I believe), I want Rin to be almost completely different. The same goes for Sesshomaru. Anyway, I hope you'll check it out!

Merci beaucoup!

If my language skills failed me in those attempted translations (which wouldn't be too surprising, haha), here's the English version: A notice to Spanish/French-speaking readers: Soon, I hope to translate my works into Spanish/French. I want to do this work by myself, but I need a person to correct my grammatical errors. If this work interests you, please send me a message by PM. If not, I will search for a beta reader. Thank you very much!
