I'm a twenty-something-year-old girl, English, in my third year of university studying for a degree in Speech and Language Therapy. This combined with a part-time job that often has to become full-time, as well as a full-time fiancee and a good social life, doesn't allow for a great deal of writing time! I've posted under a few names on , a few years ago, but have recently come back to this fun, fun, creative place... and I am determined to keep writing fanfiction at least in my out-of-term holidays. But although updates may be infrequent, I would never abandon a story. I have always loved English and writing, and sometimes regret not doing a degree in English Literature just for interest purposes, but at least there are books to read and this place on which to write!

I have to be one of the world's biggest Harry Potter fans. I have been brought up with Harry, and from being ten years old, till this day, I have never read a book that has enticed me so powerfully in terms of creativity, characterisation, emotion and imagination. The Deathly Hallows had me hooked like never before, and although many people would say it's childish, J.K. Rowling is my personal genius. I am also a massive Lord of the Rings trilogy lover, which comes in very close to being my all time favourite! In addition, I have enjoyed Philip Pullman's 'His Dark Materials'; Garth Nix's 'Abhorsen' trilogy; Robert Ludlum's fiction; Jodi Picoult's more real-life based, inspiring stories; Stephen King; and the list could go on and on. I have to admit, I am also a Twilight fan.
