Author has written 5 stories for Mercy Thompson series, Naruto, and Phantom of the Opera. Hello Fanfiction Reader, I've been a fanfiction writer for many years now. I took a long break from it when I started college, and now return older, wiser, and definitely a better writer! I'm leaving my old stories up, as terrible as they are. I do not currently have plans to rewrite or continue working on any of them. In the years since I last wrote fanfiction, many important things have happened in my life, two of which are relavent here. First, I met a wonderful man, who is now my husband. Second, I started playing pen and paper roleplay games. My husband has been running a Dungeons & Dragons game set in the Magic the Gathering: Ravnica setting for just over a year now. It's a fantastic story, with compelling characters, a dynamic plot, unexpected twists, and lots of humor. One of my initial goals as a player when we started this Ravnica game was to take excellent notes each session. As we progressed through the story, my notes grew longer and longer until finally we had an idea. What if, instead of just writing detailed session notes, we turned our story into a novel? So here I am again, with a unique new story. The Boros Bachelor is a shared brainchild, since it comes from a cooperative storytelling game. Credit for the plot and most of the characters and events goes to my husband (the other players and myself can take credit for our own characters). I'm doing the writing/novelizing, and my multi-talented beloved is our editor in chief. Several of our players weren't able to continue on after about the first six months, but Lilla's player continues to play and be involved with the creative process, so kudos to her for her assistance with all this! I hope any old readers take the opportunity to read along and experience this tale. The story is accessible to readers who are unfamiliar with Dungeons & Dragons and Magic the Gathering. Sincerely, Meg |
