Author has written 4 stories for Naruto. Hi and thanks for stumbling across this page. Any important news and updates will be just below my personal information so please check it out. Thanks Some basic information I believe is required: Name: Abbey but I will usually refer to myself by my pen name 'Ivylicious' in reviews, replies and in my Author's notes which I don't think I have done yet. Meh! Gender: Female Age: 17 Location: England Likes: Sleeping, tea, browsing fanfictions, browsing deviantART, drawing, writing (obviously =P) Dislikes: Incorrect spelling, fish and seafood, immature people, insects, unfixed ladders (not broken but free standing) Further information: Random facts: Notices: Yo, I just wanted to raise a question with you guys as I've been asked (a while ago) to make a sequel to Glass Box. Now, I never intended on creating a sequel, despite the fact that I deliberately left it open for one just to keep the reader wonder, and now I'm beginning to think that maybe I could give it a try. I've got some ideas bashing about in my skull right now so I'm just wondering whether it would be worth it to add a sequel to it. However, I will warn you that what I may come up with will more likely than not be heavily SuiKa. I'm not opposed to very many pairings, as you may or may not be aware, and I'm not solely a yaoi fangirl. Of course, there'll be more Sasunarusasu but I'm probably going to make it predominantly Karin-centric. (Oh, by the way, that means I also don't hate Karin if you haven't guessed). There's now a poll up so you can give me a simple yes or no answer to that question but I'm pretty much asking that you discuss this with me as well. I'd much rather have an opinion that goes beyond that of a closed question, eh? Message me or e-mail me (you can find my e-mail address on my deviantART profile if you squint). VERY IMPORTANT!! Thanks so much to everyone who has reviewed anything that I have written. I really love reading reviews but there are a few things that I've started noticing. This isn't just some great big long thank you: I have noticed that some people don't really put much effort into thinking about what they're going to write in their review. Please, please, please try to say something with more meaning. After several 'Update please's or 'Please update soon's I really do find it rather difficult to try to reply to them. Seriously, what can I say to that without the risk of waffling at somebody and there not being any basis to my waffling. I love every review I get but I love those with comments, critisms and specifying what parts you liked the most the best since I can actually talk about that. I actually give a bit of background information about parts of it if you raise it with me. I talk about all sorts of things, honestly, I do. I love talking about how I actually came up with jokes, ideas, yada yada. If you're interested in something, why not know more? I'm the kind of person that loves knowing details and behind the scenes stuff. I'm a trivia whore I swear. X3 If in doubt, ask me questions! I'll answer them if the question is reasonable lawls. Please don't exhaust my brain with impossible to reply to reviews, I need it for braining. UPDATE STATUS!! I'm alive! I'm back to my usual infrequent updates but hopefully it won't be months apart like my previous lack of activity. I'm so sorry to anyone who has been waiting on me, and I've apologised repeatedly in the update of Detention Date. Anywho, I'm glad that I've finally got some momentum going and the next chapter is almost complete and working on it at the time of writing this... though obviously not exactly the same time - I'm not that amazing at multitasking... in fact I'm terrible at multitasking. Uh, well, I went a bit off-topic there but yes, I'm back. Be sure to check out my favourites too! I don't favourite any old rubbish so it's all good reading. Not a single 'txt-speak' fiction in sight! Man those bug me. But yeah, I'm very picky about choosing what to favourite. On that topic: I've come across a very beautiful fiction that I'd love to share with you guys. It's a KakashiXGai and I'm pretty sure that some of you are probably staring at me in confusion. Well, as I've stated previously, I am not averse to many pairings and this fiction further reinforces my love of this pairing. You can find it here or in my favourites under the name of 'Leaning Against the Sun' hopefully other people can appreciate this pairing as much as I do. Please be sure to drop subtexual a review too if you're going to read it. I've got a deviantART account if you're interested, I'm teaching myself to improve my drawing: http:/// It's not much but I'm usually on there most days. So, I decided to get rid of any copy and paste information I had previously. Anything written here has been typed character by character by myself. Straight from the horse's mouth, I suppose you could say. Anyways, I'll probably be writing random trivia that I find interesting down after this point. Feel free to have a look. (It'll grow with time, I promise) Random facts: Sexy, sexy seaweed - adapted from my deviantART journal I was reading an article in my Biological Sciences magazine where I came across an article about the uses of seaweed. Well, the interesting thing about seaweed is that it contains agarose instead of cellulose like most plants so the cells walls are made out of that. Okay so that may not be interesting to you guys and I didn't think that it was at first, just hold on; it gets better. Well we also get the important substance of agar jelly (also known as agar agar for some strange reason - I don't name it) which is important in growing bacteria cultures and we can't find any other replacement to date. Anyways, we also get carrageenans, an algal polysaccaride (that's carbohydrate to you and me), and this is where it gets interesting. Sulfate groups on this particular polysaccaride cause electrostatic interactions between other molecules - particularly proteins. So that makes it an ideal food additive so it's algae that keeps your chocolate milkshakes from layering out too much, thickens soya milk to the same constituency of whole milk, etc, etc. So you may be wondering why I'm still rabbitting on like this. Well, the other uses of carrageenans is to form carrageenan-based gels such as (and here's where it ties into the title) sexual lubricants and a topical microbiocide which can block some sexually transmitted viruses (a noteable example is herpes). So yeah, some pretty interesting stuff. You may not look at chocolate milk in the same way again but you gained an interesting bit of trivia. |
